Quick View: Wii Fit is a revolutionary concept that combines video gaming with fitness. I wasn't quite sure what to expect when I preordered the bundle but, after several hours of using the program, I can honestly say it is well worth the money and a great fitness tool for just about anyone!About… read full review »

I love this! — It's alot of fun and the strength and yoga exercises are great! The irritating thing here: You have to pick and exercise....get your score...go back to the main menu....select the next exercise. Why in the would don't you have an option to "Do all available strength exercises" or "Highlight the ones you would like to do" I find myself not wanting to do many of them, because by the time I do one and go back into to do the next one my kids are naggin' me. — I love that it keeps track of your progess...but does it have to tell me I'm fat in front of every one? LOL… read full review »

I heard about the Wii Fit game from my mother so I decided to make a trip over to see her and give the game a try. I never thought I would have liked it so much! I never thought you could bring exercising into video games to make it a lot of fun. I was so impressed that I spend the next two days hunting it down in stores so that I could get a copy of the game for my home. — Wii Fit has several different activities that you can do to achieve your weight goals. Since it said I am slightly overweight, I should focus on the Aerobics activities so that I can shed the pounds. My husband loves… read full review »

3 days ago I purchased the Wii Fit unit for about $89.00 from a local Wal-Mart. I have to admit that when I first watched the demo, I thought it was going to be baby-ish and stupid. — Well let me tell you...I WAS WRONG! Yes, I admit it. As a non-fitness guru I thought I was going to be able to do the workouts with no issues. I thought they looked simple and don't get me wrong, they were. But the thing really makes you work and do them right. — It takes a little time to set the unit up..to answer the questions like your height and age and so on. Don't bother putting your… read full review »

We purchased the Wii system a few months ago and as soon as I heard about Wii Fit I had to have it!  I mainly walk for exercise, have tried lots of fitness dvd's, but always get bored rather quickly.  I received the Wii Fit for my birthday and in one week I have lost 1.1 lbs and dropped my BMI by one point!  And that is just with exercise, not with dieting!  — — The Wii Fit has over 40 different exercises and activities - a limited number are available at first and then as you complete more tasks, more open up.  It is so much fun, you don't even realize… read full review »

I thought that Nintendo had outdone themselves when they came out with the Wii.  Well, they have done it again with the recent release of the Wii Fit balance board and game.  — If you like exercising or even if you don't like exercising this is the game for you!  There is a range of different games on the disc including:  yogo, strength training, aerobics, and balance games.  My personal favorite is the ski jump although my kids keep beating me at it. You can unlock new games by spending time on the balance board and by doing well in a specific… read full review »

The Wii Fit is a great invention.  A way to get tech geeks like me interested in basic excercises.  I occasionally get focused on an exercise regimen but usually am just a couch potato work-a-holic tech geek.  Although the feedback the game gives when you don't do well gets annoying and tired sometimes, overall I find this invention to be genius.  It will motivate people to get exercise and tone their bodies that may be otherwise lacking.  Of particular use is its ability to give feedback to you about your balance so during yoga and strength exercises, there is no… read full review »

We bought the Wii fit board when it came out and I have played it everyday since. I wanted to give it several days before I wrote a review. If I had wrote this after playing it once, I would have rated it 5 stars, but I have found a few things I would change. — — Wii Fit in a nutshell: — Wii fit is a "board" that comes with a fitness "game". The board is placed on the ground, and you stand on it. When you first play it, you will make a character mii, and it will take you through a balance test and give you your fitness age based off of your performance and your bmi. My… read full review »

You need to own a Wii console before you get this. It works with the console not by itself. —  wanted to get this because I was curious on exactly how much this would get you up and moving. Well you do and it is fun while you do it. The games are fun and you don't really pay attention to the workout that you are getting because you are focused on the games. — My daughters enjoy it but they are in their early teens. I would not recomend it for youngsters. You need to play the games for points to unlock other games that grow in difficultly. It may be hard for young… read full review »

Love it! This is such a fun and easy, at your own pace way to work out.  You do minutes at a time and the minutes bank up and before you know it, you've done an hours workout.  I love the step arobics and the mini games. The workouts are intense and the better you get the more advanced the workout options you get. Then you can adjust as you see fit. Very much worth… read full review »

i admit, i'm overweight. according to wii fit - obese. and i struggle with finding time to get to the gym. so i've been waiting for the wii fit to come out - and now that it has, i'm addicted. not only are the games fun, there is a visual reminder of how well you've been doing (or slacking off) - as you get a stamp each day you complete the "body test". you also "bank" the time you've spent, so as you accumulate more time, you unlock new games and exercises. — there are a few fitness modes to choose from: yoga, strength training, aerobics and balance. yoga makes a good… read full review »

I bought this because I deal with debilitating disabilities that prevent me from most forms of exercise. Lack of exercise isn't any good for life expectancy and I'm sitting here gaining weight... not good. So, what to do? Buy a Wii fit. — After having the Fit for about a week now, I can tell you IT WORKS. Yeah, it tells me I am obese (OK, let's be honest, I am) and my BMI is at a dangerous level. No wonder, that's why I bought it! Anyway, the fit comes with lots of things to do, some are easy some difficult and some are just plain fun (and funny, too!) — I finish my workout on the… read full review »

Let's begin with the technology.  The board is amazing.  Don't listen to the whiners complaining that it told their precious little girl she was fat.  Let's face it.  The kid was probably a chunk.  What matters is that the board is accrate, precise and highly responsive. — What's wrong is the software.  The Wii Fit game is slow and ill plannned.  You cannot plan a workout or even enjoy a pre-made work out regiment.  You have to do one yoga pose... accept about a minute of accolades and feedback about it, and then and only then can you… read full review »

The Wii Fit Fitness Program is a great way to make exercise at home fun. The program includes strength training, aerobics, yoga, and balance, which will inspire people to improve their body and their mind. The program even has a BMI and weight calculator, and can calculate your "Wii Fit Age"  based on your age and results on balance/coordination tests. This program sets realisitic goals--whether it be to lose weight OR gain it--and provides you a time frame that it can be achieved by. The more fitness games you play and the more minutes you bank, more levels become unlocked and… read full review »
