I bought this because I deal with debilitating disabilities that prevent me from most forms of exercise. Lack of exercise isn't any good for life expectancy and I'm sitting here gaining weight... not good. So, what to do? Buy a Wii fit.

After having the Fit for about a week now, I can tell you IT WORKS. Yeah, it tells me I am obese (OK, let's be honest, I am) and my BMI is at a dangerous level. No wonder, that's why I bought it! Anyway, the fit comes with lots of things to do, some are easy some difficult and some are just plain fun (and funny, too!)

I finish my workout on the Wii soaked in sweat and my heart rate is up nicely throughout the workout. I am understandably sore and tired but not so bad that I am bedridden from it. I think this is the best thing since sliced bread for people with problems like I have which include Rheumatoid Arthritis and Fibromyalgia, both of which can improve with exercise but the problem often is that exercise makes the symptoms worse (until they improve a little, or at least don't get worse.)

Don't underestimate what this can do for you. I was skeptical at first, but I am impressed with the thought that went into this device.
