Nintendo Wii Fit —
The Wii Fit is a great invention. A way to get tech geeks like me interested in basic excercises. I occasionally get focused on an exercise regimen but usually am just a couch potato work-a-holic tech geek. Although the feedback the game gives when you don't do well gets annoying and tired sometimes, overall I find this invention to be genius. It will motivate people to get exercise and tone their bodies that may be otherwise lacking. Of particular use is its ability to give feedback to you about your balance so during yoga and strength exercises, there is no hiding behind poor technique. The game focuses overall on core strength and posture.
I got yelled at last night when I was doing boxing and I was working like crazy! The trainer guy said I didn't even break a sweat. Hmpf! I yelled back so I felt better. lol. I do think that they could soften the way they tell you that you didn't well though. After all, we're TRYING and that's what counts. Love the yoga. What a challenge!
