Nintendo - Wii Console —

My daughter bought this item for my grandson for his birthday, he is 10 and has already gone through most of the game system.  My daughter against her own self bought this for him.

First of all, there is too much hopping and jumping around and shaking the controller, and it has to be attached to your hand to keep it from leaving your arm and hitting the television.  If you have an expensive television, wow what a disaster.  I personally didn't like anything on the game except the bowling, it was semi ok.  I played to make him happy, but couldn't wait till he got tired of it.  My daughter got him the carnival game to play on it, and it was boring.  For the most part, I would not reccomend it, the price is way too high for it anyway.

The games that came with it aren't meant to last forever. It's just a sampling to give you a feel for how to use the controls. When you complain about all the 'hopping and jumping around' would you rather your grandson be sitting around playing traditional video games? I would rather my kids play the wii than any other game due to the fact at least they are getting some physical activity. If you keep it the wrist strap attached, there is no danger of breaking your expensive tv, so I don't see where that is even an issue.
