Nintendo Wii Console Review

We just bought my daughter the Nintendo Wii game console for her 11th birthday and we love it. Right now we only have a few games, mostly sports, but we all already have our favorites. The console itself was easy to install and setup and very easy to learn to use. We have made a Mii, your personal character when you play the games, for everyone in the family and a few of my daughter's friends. We love how you can change everything about your Mii to make it look like you: face shape, hair, weight, height, etc.

I have never been a huge game console fan. We have had many other ones before the Wii and I was never very interested until now. I could spend all day golfing and when we boxed each other I was actually breathing hard afterwards. If you really try to do the games the way you would in real life and don't cheat, like my husband, you could use this piece of equipment as an added daily exercise. I'm not saying I would stop going to the gym because I now have the Wii; but, I could easily get in an extra half hour of exercise just playing Wii Sport or Resort Sport.

We purchased the console on Walmart.com and bought one of their bundles which included the console, an extra numchuk, controller and a free game all for under $300. They had a pretty good selection of games and we even got one of the ones my daughter had requested. You will need more then one controller if you want to play each other so this was a great bundle.

So far we are very happy with the Wii and it looks like we will be adding to our game collection in the very near future.
