I was trying to decide on whether to buy an XBox 360, a PS3 or a Nintendo Wii. The issue I always run into is that I am a huge fan of videogames and my husband is not. So I end up playing games by myself, which doesn't really help when it comes to relationship-building. One day we walked into a video game retailer and I saw him playing a tennis game demo on a Wii. He looked so entertained! That day I decided I needed to get myself one of these units. It took me a while to find one, but when I did, I purchased one for myself and another for my brother-in-law. This was 4 months ago and ever since my husband and I spend hours a week competing in sports games, or fishing, or... just having fun! This is the first time we have so much fun playing video games. Also, my brother-in-law has called me at least 20 times to thank me for the Wii I gave him. He was never a fan of video games, but both him and his two kids love this unit. If you haven't tried out a Wii yet, you should. And if you already have, why haven't you bought one?

Thanks. Great review. I just bought on for the kids for the holidays and I am having a hard time keeping it in the box. Also, gotta say, it is not often you hear this: "The issue I always run into is that I am a huge fan of videogames and my husband is not."! Usually the other way around. ">)
