When I found out about this game, I knew it would be something that I would enjoy playing so I had to buy it.  The thing I like most about this game is the variety of mini games or carnival games that you can play on it.  There is so many things that you can do in this game that it will keep...

My husband bought this Wii Carnival Games when he got the game system for us all at Christmas time thinking that the kids would like these games and that this would be easy. First, its a little bit hard to navigate around and figure out where all the games are located not to mention how to even set up...

This is a fun Wii game for the entire family. There is something for everyone. It is a favorite at family get togethers from the youngest to the oldest. There are party game competitions for muti players, but if that is not your thing, there are cool advantages to playing one player. As a single player, you can "win" all types of items from hats, shoes, accessories , etc. just as if you were at a real carnival.  You can also import your Miis to play as yourself and dress them up in the items you "won". Also, you feel as if you are actually playing these games. LOTS OF FUN !!!!!

We bought this game a few months ago and LOVE IT.  My best friend and her 6 year old stay over quite often fight's with my 6 year old like sisters.  They can fight about anything and everything.  This game keeps them entertained, and they are supportive of each other even if they aren't winning.  It's amazing.  Plus we can bribe them to be good if they want to play Carnival Games  :)
Some of the games are a little hard for kids,  that would be the only con.

This game is so much fun! There are tons of games to play, and it's a great way to spend time with your kids. The shooting gallery is as close to violence as it gets, so it's great for younger kids as well. We own several gaming consoles, but the Wii is the only one that we all play together. It's the go to console for family gaming!

We recently went into the local game store looking for a new Wii game to amuse ourselves, and were steered toward the Carnival Games by a "helpful" sales person. It sounded fun, so off we went with our new game in hand.

We started up the Wii, put in the shiny new game, and set off to have some carnival-style fun. Unfortunately, it was not to be, the gameplay is quirky and awkward, and a couple of the games are well past the "challenging" point and firmly in "annoying" territory, the Nerves of Steel game where you pass the loop over an electrified wire being one of those. We played it maybe three...

We borrowed this game from a friend, and love it! It has so many of the old carnival games in it. Everything from skeeball, to the bop the frog into the lillypad is on here. You can play each other, which is fun too. All you need is cotton candy!

There are prizes if you get good scores too, plus as you gather tickets, you can get different things for your "mii" to wear. Like antler horns, a hard hat, etc. Quirky things to make your mii unique.

It has the sounds of a carnival too, so you feel like you're there. The "announcers" will even "rib" you if you do a bad score, and cheer you...

Step right up and try to win a prize.  This game is well worth the price, given that most carnival games are at least $3 these days.  Play 20 different games and this pays for itself.  plus you dont have to deal with the sketchy carnies and walking through the mud.  Plus, you can actually win at these games.  The multiplayer is good, but I wish you could select the games you want to play rather than having the game pick them.  Also, I wish you could import you Miis to play the games.  Rather, you have four players to choose from, and none of them are very interesting.  Being able to use... review »

THE NETINDO WII GAME is really funny and healthy. YOU can play it with your family and friends. That is an exercise as wellStep right up! All the fun and excitement of your favorite Carnival Games is on Wii. It's the perfect multi-player game for moms, dads and kids of all ages. Are you ready to rack up the points in a game of classic Alley Ball? Got the muscle to ring the bell in Test of Strength? Been practicing your accuracy for the famed Milk Bottle Throw? Ready to get wet in the Dunk Tank? If yes, then join the action as your Wii Remote transforms from a sledgehammer to a frog flinger. Master... review »

ok so i got wii carnival games for x mas and i loved it

after a while it may get boring but here are some things on there that might sound interesting:

HOOPZ: a basketball shooting challenge that you can find a real fair.

RING TOSS: you have to throw the wii remote to try to get the ring around the bottle.

TEST YOUR STRENGTH: my persanol favorite! you have to shake the wii remote very fast ( its actully kiinda hard!) and then hit the circle to get to the top of the stregth bar.

those are only a few miini games on it

have fun !

Carnival games starts out being a relatively fun game, mainly because of the Nintendo Wii's controls. But after about 5 minutes the fun of trying to throw a ball into a basket has worn off. There are a lot of different games, so at least you get three to five minutes enjoyment out of each one. I would definately recomend renting it before buying it. Chances are you will carry the rental back early. My six year old daughter seemed to enjoy it while playing the easier games and games where luck is more important than skill but she was frustrated by the harder games and after a couple of days quit... review »

Carnival games is a very fun, interactive wii game that uses the wii remote effectively.  Although some of the games will eventually become too easy to master for adults, there are others where the challenge remains because it requires subtle consistency.  While many gamers will be turned off by the lack of point accumulation or lack of storyline, casual party gamers will enjoy the accumulation of prizes and the multiplayer games.  I could see how real life carnival organizers are thanking the software company, for playing it really does entice someone to want to head out to a real carnival!... review »

I have a daughter who just turned six in June. One of her gifts was the Nintendo Wii. We bought several different games that we thought she would enjoy playing but they were just too advanced for her, until we stumbled upon Carnival Games. She loves it! The little man talks you through the directions, instead of it spelling out on the screen, gives you tips, and the best part, is that you win prizes just like a real carnival! She was happy and we were happy. The bummer gift turned out to be a hit afterall.

I got this because of teh selection of games it offers. And, they are good.  The only thing is there aren't really levels; that I've found yet. So it gets old kind of quick. But, I do have nephews that like to play this and its great for the ones that are a little too young for some of the more challenging games. The games provided here are simple. And you've seen them before at the local fair so it's kind of fun. Would I buy it again after having played it and knowing what it's like? Yes.
