The Nintendo DS is a great handheld gaming system that inspires more of an interactive feel in the gaming experience. I am rating this system based on the experiences I have had with the games I have for the DS (Trauma Center 2: Under the Knife, Diner Dash, Hotel Dusk, and Rhythm Heaven). Throughout...

I recieved the ninteno ds as a give for christmas from my husband. Really didn't want it i'm not much into video games. Tha't until he showed me that it has the touch screen games. I first recieved my Nintendo DS Lite about two years ago. The first thing I noticed was that it was way more advanced than my GameBoy Color and Gameboy Advance SP put together. The touch screen continues to fascinate me every time I use it. First of all, when I opened the package, I couldn't take my eyes off it. I was given the Onyx colored DS Lite and was impressed at how shiny and glossy it looked. It's extremelty smooth but doesn't easily fall out of your hand like my previous portable game systems. The next thing I noticed was it's dual screens. They both looked well built and sturdy which... review »

The nintendo ds is a great way to spend an afternoon or evening when theres nothing else to do. It keeps me entertained for hours. I get new games about once a week or so but I can play the same game over and over. It travels easily you can take it anywhere and play it anytime.I've played while waiting for someone in the dentists office, doctors office and many other places its fun for all ages and has something for everyone. I would highly recommend the nintendo ds for anyone. Many of the games can take you days to get through there just like the big game systems but you don,t have to have a tv...

I love the Nintendo DS!!  I have loved it for a long time!  The games they have come out with for this console are ingenious, and the device is so user friendly and technologically advanced.

I initially used this device when I had to go to Bangkok, Thailand in 2003 for work for literally one night.  I played the SIMS in the urbz game through my flights and down time to get me through.  I am not a fan of a variety of foods, and was also leary of eating much of anything.  I also was not able to sleep very much.  I lived vicariously through the life of my sims charachter for a large portion...

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the DS, I received it on christmas last year and haven't put it down! The touch screen makes playing a lot more easier and very unique. I put a plastic screen cover on both screens( don't recommend it because lint gets stuck underneath) the touch works perfectly and playing is 10x more easier than before. I tried my friends psp, It has better screen graphics but it's much harder to play with standard controls compared to the DS's touch screen. and the dual screen makes it easier to see more and makes the game better. I was really excited when I found out that you can buy gameboy...

The Nintendo DS is the best gift I've ever bought my kids. It was out for a while before I bought our first one. At first, I thought they were a little expensive, but once I bought the first one & saw how great they were, I started buying one for each of my kids. Luckily the price has come down since then, which is even better. I have 5 kids & 4 DS'. We are planning on buying a 5th DS for the youngest for Christmas.

It's been almost 2 years since we bought the 1st one & the kids never get tired of playing it. There is a wide variety of games available for ALL ages. I even bought some that I like...

The Nintendo DS is possibly the greatest console on the market right now.  With it's sleek, small portable style it is easy to take the DS anywhere and play it whenever one wants.  It has a range of games from action/adventure to how to's on how to cook or exercise.  It's greatest advantage over other consoles though is it's touch screen interface.  The tactile experience of the DS transcends other consoles.  One can notably see it in such games as Zelda: Phantom Hourglass where the player has to at times use the touch screen as well as speak into the DS and blow into to activate items in...

When I was a kid we didn't have hand held computer game systems. Now a days there are all kinds of electronic game system's to be found for all kinds of interest. One of my favorite's is the Nintendo DS. My boys have had a lot of different game systems and I enjoyed playing some of the games on them or just watching them play because it seemed it was to confusing for me to understand which button to push to make it jump or turn or whatever you wanted it to do. Well now my granddaughter has the Nintendo DS and she still has to show me how to play some of the games but I find that it is easier for...

Growing up, I was a Nintendo addict. My brother and I all summer would stay up late during our summer break to beat every Nintendo game out there. Now that we are both grown up, we have little time for video game consoles. That is, until the Nintendo DS came out. This amazing little device is fun and provides hours and hours of entertainment!! One game in mind, Wario Ware, is addicting as chocalate cake. You can tap the screen with your stylus, you can blow or talk into the built-in microphone, and the list goes on and on. The Nintendo DS has also adapted many of the old school Nintendo video games...

The Nintendo DS is perfect for anyone when there is extra Time. I use mine most of the time on break at work and when waiting at the Dr.'s office. The kids you is in the car and it's nice since we live out of the city and had have to drive at least 15 to 20 minutes to go anywhere. It has a great verity of games for the family. The adult like the thinking type of games such as brain age. The kids like the games wit the favorite character's in them. With the wide range of games it is something everyone can use. We have two  Nintendo DS's and will link them together to play against each other...

The original Nintendo DS looks huge, but it has quality.  It closes shut to protect the screen and you will not be turning it on while its in your pocket.  There are two screens.  The bottom screen is touchable, the top screen is not. It comes with a stylus which you use to touch the bottom screen and do different activities depending on what game you are playing. They have three colors black, white, and crimson.   The games are small and can be easily lost, so i suggest getting a carrying case to keep the Nintendo DS and games in. I also suggest getting either extra styluses or figure...

My 7 year old daughter has the nintendo ds. Its an easy game for her to play and actually turned out to be easier than her v-smile system.  Her little brother also wants a DS at age 4. The system even has games for someone my age or older. Its an awesome value to invest in for the entire family.  There are lots of games available with all ratings, sure to mean hours of fun for anyone in the family.  Whether you are into games similiar to the diner dash series, childen's games, or action and adventure, there's sure to be a whole array of games for you to choose from. The kids section also has...

I love my nintendo ds. It is portable, and I am able to use it whenever I want to without having to plug it into a tv. With nintendo ds, there are a lot of puzzle and brain teasers to choose from that are not available on any other system. If I use up all the battery life, I dont have to wait for it to be charged before I can play it again, I am able to play while it is charging. I find the selection of ds games include more of an adult selection, than just kids games, so there is much more of a variety for adults to choose from. I love the different colors that you can choose from when selecting...

I recently purchased my first nintendo ds for my girlfriend. She really wanted the mario brothers game so I said cool my girlfirend likes to play video games. After playing hers I went to purchase my own and with it the grand theft auto chinatown wars game. I am a big fan of the franchise and even more so now. The incorporation of the sylus into the gaming experience really helps to add some interactivty to a genera that I must has become a bit bland. From assemblying a gun to breaking out a window when your car goes off into the water, the accuracy and fun of using the stilus pen is really a joy....
