tired after playing this
Although Nintendo Wii owners were left in the cold when it came to the highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto IV (it would be so cool to use the Wii-mote to carjack someone, eh?), Nintendo didn't just sit on their butts and let some other systems get all the attention though. Every Nintendo system needs its own Mario Kart game and so here is the all new Wii version which just so happens to be released a few days before GTA4 (April 28, 2008), baby! Man, I sound like such a fan boy. Anyway so the big question here is can the new online play, different vehicles, and controller wheel attachment make…

I definately have to say that Mario Kart Wii is the best game out for the Nintendo Wii. I have always been a huge fan of the Mario Kart games just because I think I really like the car racing video games. They have always been easy for me. My mother who owns a Nintendo Wii bought this game the day that it came out. She raved about how much she liked the game we ended up buying it the next day. — The game retails for $49.99 and the nice thing about this is that it comes with one racing wheel. You can purchase…

Any fan of the mario kart games will enjoy this new racer on the Wii! The makers have incorporated tracks from the previous mario games(64, double dash, etc)and even include a "wheel". While the wheel is a nice novelty that my son enjoys using, I find that my husband and I prefer to use the nunchuk and wii-mote. Some of the races are tough, yet fun! fun! fun! and it doesn't pay to consistently run in first place as you're CONSTANTLY bombarded by shells, lightening, and anything else your competitors throw at you(First Place Frustration!!!). If you're quick you can put up a defense, except for…

Love the game! There are lots of options for characters, vehicles (either bikes or carts), and race tracks. There are some fun new features, and even some new items that you can get from item boxes, adding yet another dimension. You are also able to unlock more characters, vehicles, and races throughout game play. The racetracks seem to have an added dimension which make them a lot more interesting and fun! My only complaint is with the wheel that comes with the game - I found it very difficult to drive with, and found it hard to get used to. It seemed like I spent more of the race…

I and my family LOVE this game. It is great. The steering wheel feature is the best yet. The roads are challenging and fun. Though I really think them flying shells are evil incarante. they make me SO mad! I swear you get hit 5 times in a row lol. No bitterness here I swear! =) Anyway I really do enjoy mario kart and so do my husband, kiddos and neighbors, random odd strangers.. You get the point. If you playing more then 1 person I recomend getting the wii wheel for all controllers much easier then just using the controller. (They run about 9.99 at places like…

We are not hard core gamers so with that in mind our family loves this game. Even grandma loves to play this game. It is simple to learn and start playing right from the beginning but opffers challenges as you get better. My girls are 7 and 9 and just love this game. One of our favorite wii games we own. The courses are very imaginative and span over many themes. The downside is it isn't active like the Wii sports games and they can sit and play, but still a fun game! —…

I am a 36 year old woman and I am addicted to Mario Cart. My whole family shares in playing reach race--we switch the wheel during the circuits. It's so much fun! The wheel is accurate, the graphics excellent and I am on a mission to improve my rating. — This is the best video game I could recommend for us Atari babies. —…

Was able to play and compete with my kids and turned into a family fun daily event. The controls are easy to use and game play is fast. The excessive winged shells get frustrating at times but the courses are creative and entertaining. Very little bad about this game my kids enjoyed it and it was fun time spent…

I love this game. It is so much fun to play against your friends. I use my own personal mii, which is super fun. I love the courses, they range from easy to more difficult so pretty much any one can play. It is very easy to pick up and in no time you;ll get your first first place. My favorite race is coconut mall. …

I've always played the racing games and get so wrapped up in it that I turn the controller like it might help. Well now, that's how you control your racer. New power ups keep the race interesting. And they even give a throw back to the classic games with origional tracks. LOVE…

I just can't put this thing down. It's the most fun i've ever had playing a game. The online component and playing against others of my skill lever just makes it a blast. Yes it has gotten harder, but that just makes me try more and more to be the…
