Probably the best controller design from any of the gaming companies. It holds your thumb in the proper position, it is light and small and east to handle. I hope the new Xbox One has a decent design like this. I still love playing the old gamecube. I used the battery pack that you could buy for it and play it on the airplane with this wireless controller using a portable dvd player. I have had it for years and the controller has gone through a lot of abuse and is still like new.

I've had this controller since I was still very young and yet, I still have it today. It's been a very useful controller because you can just move anywhere in your room without the cord interfering. It's also useful for moving at the back of the room, which is perfect for people who can't sit close to the TV to play video games. I still use it today and I love it. It's a very nice, useful, and great WL controller!

The Nintendo Gamecube Wavebird Wireless Controller is a good product. I would highly recommend this to Gamecube console players. I have had no difficulties with the wireless capabilities and it allows me more freedom to sit around the room without worrying about being too far from the television/game console. It also prevents the problem of getting all of the wires of your controllers tangled together and having to sort them all out when you have friends over to play multiplayer games. One downside is that the controller is larger than the regular Gamecube console controller; however, it is not overly heavy or overly large that it cannot be easily stored in the space where I keep all of my Gamecube console games. It provides all of the same functionality and easy gameplaying experience of your typical Gamecube controller. Overall, I highly recommend this product for enhanced gameplaying and ease.

The Nintendo Wavebird for the Gamecube is the prime example of what a controller should be. The conversion to a wireless controller makes the set up much easier. No control or sensation is lost in the transition, with gameplay and reaction time still being crisp and unaltered. A great choice for the Wii or Gamecube.

As a GameCube owner, as I have been since I was a child of around age 8 or 9, I can vouch for this product. I have had two of these controllers for about ten years now, and they still work wonderfully. In fact, most of the games have been completely worn out from avid use, but the controllers have held up all this time.

Multi-usage console controller is the best way to go. Less wires is equivalent to more fun and less chewing from puppies. I use this controller now even with wii u/ wii console games and it makes it better then using wii remote sometimes, especially when you have guests over.

This is the Wavebird wireless controller, for the Nintendo Gamecube. Basically, this is just a regular controller....right? Well, it's not. The handles are just like the original "official" controllers. They aren't bad, but not the best. Aside from the extra bulk at the bottom, which isn't noticeable, it is the best gamecube controller on the market. Powered by two AA batteries, it's really easy to keep track of. The best feature, however, is the wireless built into the controller. It allows you to play, using the controller, with no cable attached to your controller. My opinion, and reviews elsewhere online, say that this is the best controller on the market. Unfortunately, it has been discontinued for production, so the prices on all of the new ones are high. But even still, if you can get one of these controllers, it is highly recommended. Wireless up to a long distance, which I have never gotten past the maximum of. Great product

I've owned my wavebird controller ever since it came out in 2002 for a total of 11 years and it has been reliable and has worked perfectly. The controller is ergonomically shaped to fit your hand and is almost exactly in design of the Gamecube controller just without the wire. The controller suffers from (almost) no lag unlike most wireless controllers before and is built to last. The only problem I've had with the controller was the battery cover has fallen off due to wear and tear,but the controller is still working fine. The battery life on the Wavebird is really good, giving roughly 40 hours of play on a decent battery brand. Overall if you want a wireless controller for your Gamecube or Wii you'll be satisfied with the Wavebird.

The Nintendo Gamecube was one of the best consoles to ever exist and with it comes a fantastic controller. Where many disliked the Gamecube design, the same cannot be said for the controller. It fits very well and comfortably in the hands and the analog sticks are positioned perfectly. The colour buttons have an unusual positioning, but this is easy to get used to. As for the triggers on the back, these are one of the controllers best features, the pressure required to use them is very comfortable, they are well positioned and easy to use as well. One personal dislike i have is the colourful buttons on the controller, however, this was easy for me to get used to and grew on me over time. Additionally, the controller is fairly clunky and may be slightly uncomfortable in the long run or for those with small hands. Overall, the Gamecube controller is comfortable, good looking controller and I would definitely recommend it,
