The Gamecube is a great console if you are looking for an older system that can still work with a flat screen TV. I've had mine since it came out and its been amazing. The game selection was decent, graphics were decent (depending on what TV you plugged it into), and the controller was able to fit easily into your hands comfortably. The only disadvantage to getting a gamecube now would be trying to find the games as well as the lack of quality on big HD TV's. I have a 32" flat screen (not HD) and it works just fine. The graphics are a bit fuzzy, but otherwise the game quality is great. Up to four people are able to play on it at a time, however there I was never able to find a lot of multi-player games. You aren't able to access things online, but for the system, why would you want to? One thing to mention about it's durability is that you don't want to keep a game running for long periods of time (such as over night). This causes the system to overheat and if you do it a lot, over time the system will stop. However, if you don't do that, the system can last for years. My gamecube has lasted for over six years. Even though it's an older system, I still give it a 9.

I love my GameCube! I have had it for years! I love the games that it has, old games are the best. We will sit and play it for hours! The kids love it too. My nephew plays every time he comes to visit, and has been asking me if he could please have it for years now. It's a great time filler. On a rainy day it keeps the older kids entertained and on rainy nights it keeps the adults laughing.

As a gamer myself, the GameCube is where I had started off at as the technology progressed over time. I used to, and still do love the GameCube! The games were always simple and fun to play. Graphics Quality The quality of the games were usually overall good. Game Variety I don't think they've sold enough games for the GameCube as much as when it first came out. Controller Comfort After a while of playing games on the GameCube, I started to feel discomfort in my fingers when holding the controller for so long.

The Nintendo Game Cube is an incredible and under rated home console. It has so many games and so far was Nintendo's last hardcore gaming system before they turned to that horrible Wii console. The Game Cube has liquid 128 bits of graphics which Nintendo called the "Dolphin" and was developed by IBM. The graphics are amazing and so are the games. Games such as Metroid Prime 1 and 2, Super Mario Sunshine, various Tony Hawk games including 3,4, Underground and American Wasteland, Wario world, Pac-Man World 2, and last but not least, Timesplitters 2 make the Nintendo Game Cube absolutely incredible. Unfortunately the Game Cube was overshadowed by the Playstation 2 because of its built in DVD player but the Game Cube held its own for a while before the horrible Wii was made. The Game Cube actually has its own handle which makes it kind of portable and able to be carried easily with one hand and soon came out with its own wireless controller called The Wavebird. The console itself plays mini disks which hold the memory of 1.1 gigabytes and has two memory card slots and four controller inputs. On the bottom of the console there are a few ports which are used for future add-ons such as the Game Boy Play which plays Game Boy games on your television which I have and that also works great. Overall the Nintendo Game Cube was a very successful home console and so far is the last hardcore gaming console Nintendo has made. An instant classic and it will never lose its fan base. I recommend this console to anyone especially people who remember how great Game Cube was and to people who want to give it a try. Graphics Quality The graphics are amazing. If you buy a component to HDMI converter you can even make the Game Cube graphics HD which would make this console completely relevant to the consoles of today. Game Variety Excellent game variety. Includes games such as Luigi's Mansion, Sonic Adventure 2 Battle, Metroid Prime 1 and 2, Super Mario Sunshine, Timesplitters 2 (incredible game), Pac-Man World 2, Wario World, F-Zero GX as well as many other excellent titles. Controller Comfort Your hands will wrap around this controller with ease. Some people complained that it was too small for their hands but disregard that completely. The control stick and camera stick feel amazing and the big A button in the middle of the buttons section sets the tone for the entire controller. Great controller and very easy to use. Ease of Use The controller is very easy to use and the console itself is very easy to use. Just put the game in and turn on the console and there you go! One word of advice though, older Nintendo consoles such as this one and the Nintendo 64 have this thing where if you touch the control stick as the system is turning on whatever game you play will have the starting point of where the control stick was tilted to. So if that happens just turn the system off, resent the control stick to the center and turn it on again without touching the controller for a few seconds. The games will play perfect then. Durability Very durable. I have had no problems with this console breaking at all.

This is a well-balanced console that nowadays is very cheap to buy. The games are well varied and also fairly cheap. It's got a comfortable controller, and is very fun to use. Everyone can find a fun value in the Gamecube. Durability Nintendo is known for quality. This console can take nearly anything and continue to chug along.

this system was a beast when it came out and currently in my mind is the greatest system ever made. It's graphics were decent and it was indestructible. I've seen one of these get thrown onto concrete and still work, get liquids spilled on it and still worked, and multiple other things that would have destroyed most gaming systems or electronics. One of the best features to me was it had a portable screen that could attach to it when on a camping trip as well as a battery pack, it wasn't a very big screen but it was a unique feature I've yet to see on another system. It being a home system as well as a portable. This system cold connect with games from hand held line which once again was a first for a system and allowed up to four players connected at the same time. This system was revolutionary for the gaming industry it set the tide for the systems we have today, and in my opinion still leads in most versatile. Graphics Quality the graphics to me are great for it's time i still play mine to this day and have no complaints Game Variety Compared to the route nintendo took in it's later years this is their best system for game variety. Controller Comfort these controllers to me were the best ever made they fit in your hand perfectly and all buttons were in perfect reach Ease of Use it was simple and efficient when it came to hooking up handheld plugs and even the mini TV I spoke about Durability this is what i believe to be it's best quality no matter what was done to this system it would never break and play as fast as the day you bought it. My friend broke his disc cover off and he would just pt it back on whenever playing and he never had problems

Really have to appreciate the greatness that was this game cube back in the day. Amazing, clear looking graphics. As well as a controller that was very comfortable, never had any sorts of problems with it whatsoever. Really stands the test of time, it's a really durable machine. Not an easy one to mess up. Easy to use, not complex at all. Forever love the game cube.

Loved this thing when it first came out, bought it day of release at best buy. Between the controller design and the game feel, was and always will be one of the best Nintendo consoles. Graphics Quality Pretty good graphics quality for the time period. Game Variety Smash brothers, fox series, Mario games, what else is there to play? Ease of Use Easy to use once used to turning off wireless controllers. Durability Except for freezing cold weather and dropping it multiple times, the console was durable.

This was my childhood gaming console. I remember having such good times with this. The graphics are pretty good for what it is, an older model. The game variety is also really good considering how old it is. They don't make any new games for this, but there are literally so many games you probably would never run out of games to play! Graphics Quality It has pretty good graphics for it's age. It's not as good as some of the newer gaming consoles, but it is great for being made in the early 2000's. Game Variety This has got to be my favorite part of this console. There are so many games to keep you entertained for a really long time. Durability Very durable. I have this still sitting in my room. I've had it since I was a kid and it still works perfectly. The graphics looks older and more cartoon compared to new technology and gaming consoles are out, but it is still precious to me because it is a classic! I don't think they make these anymore, so I feel that young kids today are truly missing out if they can't get one because of the classic feel and the awesome game variety.
