I was looking for a game console to buy fo son who is turning 13 this week and I have been looking at all kinds of console to see which one has the best rating and the most games and the longest battery life, So after looking high and low I settled on the Nintendo Ds lite, the price was about 120.00 and that came with a game his favorite Star Wars: The Complete Saga and it came with a Lego Armour case which is going to come in very handy as he drops everything he holds, The Nintendo DS lite is very lightweight and it comes with the a/c house charger, I have been looking for other games and I find...

Nintendo - Wii Gaming System

Nintendo - Wii Gaming System
technically challenged, waiting for version2.0

I have owned the Wii Gaming System for about 1.5 years now.  When we first originally got it, there was a huge demand for it and you couldn't find it anywhere.  Everytime they had it advertised for the new week, I would know the day before since I would buy the Sunday newspaper on saturday.  This way, I would make sure I hit the store that had them and be one of the first in line! This gaming system is truly great.  Keep in mind that I do not even like playing video games.  My kids enjoy this as much as I do.  You get to move along and not just sit there and move your fingers like other gaming...

So I bought my Wii when it was still $249.00. I thought it was a bit pricey, but I have been out of the video game loop for a while ( I'm 31). It came with the sports disc ( with bowling, tennis, gold, boxing, etc). These games are so fun. The golf and tennis ones are so realistic it is incredible. The bosing one had me sweating after two rounds.  I went to take a shower and when I came back, my boyfriend had sweat dripping off of him from boxing. This gives a great workout. The aerobics is ok. My only complaint is that each session is only a few minutes and you get all into it and then it's over...

I first recieved my Nintendo DS Lite about two years ago. The first thing I noticed was that it was way more advanced than my GameBoy Color and Gameboy Advance SP put together. The touch screen continues to fascinate me every time I use it. First of all, when I opened the package, I couldn't take my eyes off it. I was given the Onyx colored DS Lite and was impressed at how shiny and glossy it looked. It's extremelty smooth but doesn't easily fall out of your hand like my previous portable game systems. The next thing I noticed was it's dual screens. They both looked well built and sturdy which... review »

Nintendo - DS Lite Console Is Great For Educational and fun games!

we recentally bought the spanish game and the whole family is trying to learn spanish! I am also going to buy the teaching games and anything else educational for the kids!Nintendo DS Lite is one of the best portable video game consoles available. We love that the Nintendo DS Lite is compatible with original Nintendo DS and Gameboy Advance games, we can play up to 400 video games on the system!  "There are titles for young kids all the way to the hard core gaming adult." The Nintendo DS Lite's vibrant graphics and wireless chatting...

A great travel companion for long trips or long waits, it provides entertainment in a small size product and energy life. Although it is outdated today, it provided modern entertainment at is dawn with better graphics than the original game boy and the different desgins of colors and product advertisement for Pokemon provided personalization for everyone's need. The small sized games provided the perfect placement in pockets for easy selection between what was being played. And the continuation of the games to future Gameboys. It price at the time was lower than home gaming systems, and today it...

The Nintendo Wii is the genius brainchild of the geniuses over in Japan. This game console is the first to successfully utilize the motion controller on a grand scale with a Wii mote that has expanded into a racing wheel, bowling ball, and fitness matt! What really appeals to me about the Wii is that it is suitable for anyone of any age or gender. Seniors can enjoy playing tennis from the comfort of their living rooms and kids can always have fun fighting each other in a friendly game of Brawl. The Wii really brings together families and friends and is a great entertainment system that will last...

We purchased a Wii for our son for his 7th birthday.  He had broken his dominant arm just a few weeks before and was having a very difficult time dealing with his new limitations.  We thought the Wii would allow him the opportunity to play a video game (the systems we had before didn't allow for one handed operation) while he was still without the use of his arm, and hoped it would offer physical therapy that he could enjoy.  We were spot on with it being something he would enjoy and be able to do with one arm, it has been a HUGE hit not only with him but with our whole family.   When our son...

Nintendo - Wii and Wii Fit

I've had a Wii for two years now, and I love it. There's all sorts of great games and I love the wireless technology, which makes it so much fun to use. We also have a Wii Fit, and we've had it for about a year and a half. It's a lot of fun too, but if you're trying to lose weight and that's your only motive for getting it, don't bother. The Wii Fit is a great game, but helps in no way whatsoever with losing weight. Sure, it helps you track how much you gain and lose and it's helpful to have that written down in a place where you can't lose it and you can look back on your success (or lack thereof)...

The gameboy advance sp console is a great little console with a lot to offer in the gaming world. The  gameboy advance sp is a small heldheld console the size of a square calculator with a fold down lid to protect the screen from damage due to scratches and finger marks. It is a real step up from the Game boy advance with this feature alone. The screen is app. 2 1/2 inches wide by 1 1/2 inches high. The screen is easy to view the games on and is a perfect size for such a small console. This console comes in many colors such as silver, blue, charcoal etc. When you open up the console there are...

I have to say that the Nintendo Wii was one of the best  investments we have made in our house.  The best part about this game system is the fact that you do not just sit in front of a game console and only use your thumbs to play as you do in most game systems.  The Nintendo Wii is a game in which the player has to become a part of the game.  If you are playing tennis, then you use the remote and actually swing it like a tennis racket to hit the ball.  They also have accessories such as a tennis racket or baseball bat to use to play certain games.  There is a fitness test that you can take...
