Intro — My 10 year old daughter loves everything that has to do with dogs. Every book she reads is about dogs, she watches everything on TV she can find, most of her 125 stuffed animals are dogs, etc. Basically, her life is a dog's life. She wanted one thing for Christmas that she talked about non-stop. A Nintendo DS with the game Nintendogs. — — My Parental View — The best feature of Nintendogs is that it teaches the users what real dog ownership is really like, and how to care for them properly. They have to earn money to buy the dogs, as well as all food, toys,…

From the first time I saw Nintendogs in the store, I just loved the concept. All the fun of a real dog, without the mess! — Nintendogs is probably the most well-rounded game out there, using all of the unique functions that make the DS great. Players start off the game by selecting a puppy from one of the several breeds. Initially, there are three puppies in each breed, each with their own personality traits. My daughter received this Nintendogs for Christmas and instantly learned how to play it. Very cute game, multiple choices in dogs and you can own up to three dogs. This game teaches the kids what it takes to actually own a dog. They must feed, bath, walk, play with and pick up after their dogs. The owner has to win competitions to get money to buy everything for the dogs including food and you must teach the dogs tricks in order to win the competitions. Easy to learn to play, graphics are cute and an all around entertaining game. —…

My daughter and I fight over who gets to play next on this game. — I've got my Lab, Satan, and she has hers, Damien, (what can I say, we like evil names) and I'm actually gotten to the point where I think i need to get my own DS and game! — Some of the tricks are intuitive, some require thinking what the heck the dog expects, but all are fun to see. — The contests are pretty easy at 1st, but get really hard as you get along. — In short, get this if your Apt building don't allow pets....it's…

Great to use as a teaching aid about dogs. Free Nintendo WI-FI is amazing to connect. Teaching responsibility and care is what this game does. While you walk you meet computer dogs, find gifts, go to stores, and visit parks. The best part is giving your dog a name and training…
