Nintendo - DS Lite Console —

When you're approaching the half way point in a multi-hour drive, you'll be glad that you bought your kid that Nintendo - DS Lite Console.

Our daughter, Jenna has always been a big electronics and especially Nintendo fan.  Gameboy, Gameboy Advance, Nintendo DS and now the DS Lite.  Put one of these in her hands and she can create magic and entertain herself for hours.

I'm not sure just how many Nintendo Dogs she now has, but they can often be heard barking in the rear seat of our car.  Often when we're traveling with her friends they all play together using their own consoles.

The Nintendo - DS Lite Console operates on game cartridges that can (must) be purchased separately, so over time it can amount to quite an investment.  Cartridges commonly cost about $29.99 and up for the newest titles.  You can also purchase cartridges that were previously owned at many game store for considerably less.

Smart Move Nintendo

One of the great features of the Nintendo - DS Lite Console that makes it a favorite with parents as well as kids is that it is backwards compatible with older games designed for earlier consoles.  This lightens the economic load considerably.  I'm amazed at how Jenna rediscovers some of her earlier games and enjoys them all over again.

My Viewpoint

Of all the portable game consoles, Nintendo continues to be the most popular.  Smart design, interesting games and a parent pocket friendly philosophy makes the Nintendo - DS Lite Console a good choice for a holiday gift this year.

Happy Holidays,

Rudi

Sounds pretty cool. Although I'm over my must-have-technology stage, it sounds like a great product and diffenetely a great gift idea. Thanks.
