Most HelpfulI purchased the Guitar Hero: On Tour game for my Nintendo DS about a month ago. I have been a fan of the Guitar Hero games for the bigger consoles and thought it was a cool game to have on the go as well. I have not been let down, this game is a lot of fun. I purchased the game pack which included the...

Most Helpfuli love video games and i tend to be old school but i have to say the Guitar hero for ds sucks . I prefer the one for psII where u can actually play the fake guitar and go in your own little world of music . Ds is a great system dont get me wrong but im in my very early 40 s and prefer less difficult...
read full review »What can I say about the Guitar Hero on tour other than it is great and hard to put down. My daughter got it on Saturday and is now working on the expert.
At first sort of a handcramp trying to use the pick and press the correct color button but once you get use to you get adddicted.
The music are the same songs from the Guitar Hero III so if you know the songs from there you can probaby get to the expert level fast.
Guitar hero has also been sold for the playstation and the wii but ever so recently we have come across something for the d s. it is called guitar hero world tour.it has both old and modern songs.it has great audio and it has a stroy modeou can even link and play two player on it.there is a con though. when you play on tghe wii you get a challenge asd there is 5 buttons but when you play on the d s you may note that there are only 4 buttons to play with thus making there little to no challenge what so ever. have beaten expert on it and have found that it is very fun to simply try and beat my high...
read full review »I am a huge fan of the whole Guitar Hero franchise, so I was stoke when I learned it would be coming to the DS. It really is a fun game and can get very challenging. The song choices are good - some older, some newer. I think everyone will be able to find a song they know or they will become a fan of a new song.
One of the biggest cons is that sometimes the guitar extension comes loose from the system itself, so you may be in the middle of a song and all of a sudden it'll stop. You will have to reset it at this point. Also, it can get a little bit boring after a little bit, but never fear! There...
read full review »I just can't stress this enough. It is on the go, which is great, but the gameplay is bad. First, there is barely any characters, no music and 5 places to play. The hand positions are awkward, and a always get cramps from it. I really liked the real guitar hero, but this is terrible. Please save yourself the time and money. Do NOT buy this piece of junk. However, This game is addicting. Once you get to expert, you really want to beat it. I also like multiplayer and guitar battles. There are not many save files, either, just two. I don't care, it's not like I play it much. Additionally, the sound...
read full review »My son got the nintendo DS for his birthday. He was asking to buy guitar hero with his birthday money. I was a bit reluctant, but found a reasonable deal at Best Buy for it so we got it. He has played this game far more than any of his other games. It is addicative and fun. He loves the 80's rock now and it's just so funny to watch him play. I like how they have beginner to hard modes so that everyone can play, even grandma. It even switches for left handed if you need it to.
