My kids all have this game so they can play together on their own DS.  They seem to think this game is the bomb.  As a mom, I find it a little boring myself (although I do like to fish and collect things to sell ha ha).  I can honestly say that it has taught my 9 year old tons of responsibility, though.  She enjoys buying things, paying off the mortgage, etc.  She actually understands how hard it is to pay the mortgage!  I think that alone was worth the $34 this game cost new.  I haven't met a kid yet that doesn't love this game.  5 stars!
