"I think WWE Monday Night Raw is a really intelligent show." "600 dollars is a great price for a video game system or phone." "Maybe OJ didn't do it and the real killers are still out there?" If you can relate to any of those above statements then you seriously need to get your head examined. One good and cheap way to smarten ya up while having some fun at the same time is with Nintendo's Brain Age franchise. Brain Age 2 for the Nintendo DS here offers a bigger collection of interactive mini games or skill testing questions that actually give your mind a work out. Is the game better then the...

When my manchild husband tired of his Nintendo DS, he passed it along to non-video-gamer me and helped me pick out a couple of puzzle games I might enjoy. He recommended Brain Age 2 because it includes Sudoku puzzles (of which I am a fan). I was almost instantly addicted! I had to go out and buy a cutesy carrying wallet for the DS because I was taking it everywhere, just to play this game. The puzzles really do make me feel like I'm doing something good for my mental acuity, and the extra games (like Virus Buster and Sudoku) are great relaxers after a stressful day. Feel good about playing video...

I love the Brain Age series, they are so addicting.  People of all ages can play Brain Age 2, but I feel like it is geared for adults and teenagers.  You can find Brain Age 2 in any store that sells video games, for about $19.99.  I think it is totally worth the money because this is one game that is so addicting.  It will get you hooked in minutes and you will be coming back every day for more.

Brain Age 2 is one of those games that will really make you think.  I really like these video games because you succeed when you think, it does not take a lot of skill.  Another great...

I wasn't sure about Brain Age, because I've been so disappointed with "smart" games in the past, but this one is awesome! There are different "training" modes that target math, vocabulary, how well you hear, and more. My favorite trianing mode is the Piano game, although I am awful at the "Hard" mode - I've forgotten how to read music since my schooldays. Lots of fun and makes you feel like you're not wasting your time playing video games.

There is also a hidden version of "Dr.Mario" - which is like Tetris but harder.

The biggest descriptor of this game is right there in its subtitle, "more training in just minutes a day".  For all means and purposes this is the same game as the original Brain Age.  The big difference is the addition of new mini games to train and stimulate you prefrontoral cortex, the part of the brain that controls how you apply what you know.  Will it give you a higher SAT score?  Probably not but I can't think of any reason why mind puzzles and math problems could be bad for you so go ahead and flex that cerebellum and try to have a little fun while you're at it.

The training games in...

Brain Age 2 is probably my more favorite game of the 2 brain ages.  I bought the first one, got hooked, and when I found out that there was a second version with PIANO stuff in it, I had to have it.

I'll start my review with that piano game.  It is very fun to play, but can be hard, especially for those who don't know anything about music.  When you unlock hard mode, it gets even harder.  I found it easy still, but I imagine for those not piano savvy, this was a hard game.  In this instance, I think they should have flipped the screens around.  Pianists read music with the music on top,...

This is a great game.  It keeps your brain challenged when you play it on a regular basis, and I really feel that I can see a huge difference in my abilities both in the game and doing other difficult tasks after I have played it consistently. The training games offer a good variety of tasks, and the brain age check is a great way to see how you are doing mentally that day.  The only thing that I dislike about the game is that the "brain tips" that you get after each training mode tend to get repetitive very quickly.  Otherwise, the game is great.  I really enjoy that Sudoku is included as... review »

I got this game for my son last Christmas with his Nintendo DS and we really enjoy this game. I personally enjoy the Sudoku game and my boys really like the idea of opening up a new game when they play and pass other games. I do get a little frustrated with the "Rock, Paper, Scissors" game because when I yell out the right response, it tells me I'm wrong and that makes my brain age too old but that's okay as long as I can play Sudoku, i'm good to go!

Brain age, is a fun game that helps keep your brain from turning to mush.  Some of the games seem like they would be a lot easier than they actually are, but end up quite fun.

One of the games is a virus buster that is supposed to relax you, however I very rarely feel remotely relaxed while or after playing it.

I am having a blast with this game. I do not have the first one, so I can't compare the two, but this one keeps me entertained daily. I love that I can share this with my wife or family when we go visit without having to worry about them not understanding the rules or controls. All around great game for adults who want to keep sharp.

The game is hours of fun.  I never played the first one but i play this one everyday.  I have not missed a single day since i started.  I love the warm-up connecting the dots.  Virus buster is a bonus to the game and i always try to beat my top scores.  I always am improving my time. Its a must try game.
