Great game for all ages!

Animal Crossing is an awesome game. This review is of the Wii version which also has the wii speak microphone. We previously owned the Gamecube version and while the Wii version is similar, it adds some extras that you can't get with the Gamecube version.

Exciting and promising, but falls short.

I awaited Nintendo's Animal Crossing: City Folk and Wii Speak Microphone bundle with keen anticipation. A huge fan of the earlier Animal Crossing, I couldn't wait to try it with Nintendo's motion controls. Plus, how could they go wrong when you could visit other folks and go see the big city!

I love the Animal crossing City Folk game. I rented for my 6 year old son. Soon enough everyone except the baby was playing. Our family consist of My husband and I, my 16 year old daughter, my 9 year old daughter, my 6 year old son, and a baby. We are all in love with this game and we play everyday. We joined an online community to make friends to play with via Wi fi. We even find ourselves talking about the game during dinner. Its great family fun! It is great for all ages.

I am not a video gamer at all. We brought the game to let my children play with their cousins who live on the other side of the country. I added a profile so that I could do the "aunt thing" and play with them every now and then. I have caught myself playing it a lot after my kiddo go to bed. They fight over whose turn it is and that makes it a great motivator. The down side is that only one can play at a time and no more than four players on each game.

highly addictive - hours of fun!

This game is more fun than I had imagined. It does become repetitive, however it is highly relaxing and let's you go at your own pace. It is programmed to change with this seasons adding new experiences constantly. PLUS! You can interact with friends and family around the globe. Very cool!
