Nim's Island —
Nim's Island is a cute family movie. I took my two boys and my mom to see it today and we all enjoyed different parts of the movie.My boys loves the animals moments, especially the lizards. My mom liked the scenes that incorporated parts of the author's book and her main character. I liked the author herself and the courage of Nim.
Nim's Island is full of excitement, beauty, tranquility and a little fear.
The one thing I didn't like was how the dad just left Nim on the island for what was supposed to be a two day trip. I didn't think that sent a good message to kids. The good news is that he does eventually make it back to her, right after the terrified author shows up.
Nim's Island is recommended by roserighter
