Nikon - D70 —

The Nikon D70s does not have a ton of unneccesary options, but plenty to work with. Paired with a good zoom lens you can take awesome pictures. I have had many comments about my pictures and much of it is due to the quality of my camera. There is an auto option for those who are used to the point and click camera. For those more experienced you can set the camera's aperature, shutter speed, etc, so you are the one taking the picture. For the price this is an awesome digital SLR.
