Nikon - D60 Digital Camera Review

I own a Nikon 35mm SLR camera and I am a hobbiest photographer.  This Nikon was my current dream camera.  I mentioned to my mother that I would love to have this camera and since she was in the market for a digital camera she went out and bought it.  She was glad not to have the hastle of comparing.  I have honestly used it more than she has. It is similar in design to my 35mm so I felt comfortable right away with using it.  I must say there is so much more to this camera then just using it like you would a point and shoot camera.  I love that I can use it on manual and reset it easily so mom can use the auto function.  If you plan to buy this then you need to get to know it.  Your pictures will be so much better if you are familiar with the equiment you use!  I have now photographed a wedding using this camera and was pleased with the stunning results.  The Nikon D60 is user friendly but is not simple to use; by that I mean this would be pretty intimidating for a beginner.  But if you are willing to learn, I definitely recommend it!
