The fav D200 from Nikon!!!
I have had this camera for a while and it goes everywhere I go. It has withstood many bumps, drops, humidity, anything you name it. Of course you have to have it serviced once a year at least. But will keep taking awsome shots, still and action. My passion is taking scenery pictures, which means mostly still shots and the quality of Nikon glass is the best for these kinds of pictures. But now I have a child, which means plenty of action shots. And this camera has not failed me on that job.
I only have one real lense (18-200 VR) that I mainly use. It is a heavy lense and a heavy camera. Together they are something to get used to carrying around. I also use a fixed 28mm 1.8 and the images I get with that are out of this world.
You have to remember that this is a camera for someone who knows a little about photograhy, because all the settings are manual. Also with this kind of camera you will need to buy a speedlight. May I suggest an SB-800. Never buy the little one that doesn't swivel (it's not worth it).
