The actual model that i have is a Nikon Coolpix s51 and i absolutely love it!!  I carry it with me EVERYWHERE i go.  You never know when it'll come in handy. I like that its compact, but is also very sturdy.  I really like the nice sized LCD screen.  It makes the viewing of the scene or pictures a snap and very easy.  It has more flash settings than i've EVER seen in any camera.  The pictures always come out great and love the  date imprint so i'll never have to guess agian.   It can also take up to a full hour video!!!  And the battery seems to last for a long time, which is uncommon.  There's only a couple of small details that could use some attention.  First, it takes awhile for the picture to actually take.  Most of the time i have to tell people, don't move til i tell you because of the red eye reduction and auto focus.  Also, the volume on the video seems a little low, or maybe its just my settings!!  No matter what, this camera is a fav!!!

I bought that camera on summer to make pictures on vacation. But we had bad luck with it. In one week the display just broked up, even so my wife carried it in her beg, and the camera was in camera beg. I was really dissappointed. Why to do such camera with so weak display. It is very important issue because people buy such small cameras so they can carry it everywhere in the pocket or in  a purse.

 I bought this camera a year ago. I have it in my purse and take it with me everywhere.  I guess I have always felt you never know when the perfect photo opportunity might occur.  I like to keep it with me.  A great feature is to show people your pictures quickly with the review wheel and zoom in on objects and take more pictures of areas of interest.  The batteries last for a long time after it is charged.  It is one of the best purchases I ever made.

The camera is a really good one - works well with action, low light, no light, and more.  My only issue with it is that it powers on so easily.  Sometimes it goes on and off in my pocket - wasting battery power.  Overall, I am very happy with the camera, I have had to just learn some new ways to carry it - rather than just simply sliding it in my pocket.

My aunt had bought this camera for me because of Ashton Kutcher ads, unaware of how the camera is, but results turned out great!  Technology has really advanced from the disposable cameras! I was shocked to find out this camera has a wifi feature, though it is not fully developed because you cant access free public wifi most of the time.  But when you do have wifi you can share pics!  the s50c is very slick and slim and looks very cool and has an awesome scroll wheel.  The picture quality is great unless you're moving.  With Hi-ISO turned on, pictures taken in low light come out bright and clear. The VR gives clear pictures at full zoom. The movies with sound are clear and smooth. But of course with all these functions and wifi, the battery life tends to be short.  Though I love it, I wouldn't recommend to people until they fix the problems.  First generation stuff always have the most problems so I would wait until the newer model comes out or another brand comes out with a better version.

This camera was disappointing from the beginning.  It takes very poor indoor photos.  Outdoor pictures and video are pretty good though.  However, after less than 2 years of ownership, it is totally broken.  I get a lens error every time I try to turn it on.  I have heard good things about coolpix, but my experience was not great.  I chose a different brand for my new camera.

Ive had good experiances with Nikon products in the past, but im sad to say that this camera left me fealing "ripped off." I wished i had done some more online research before i purchased this camera. ALL of my photos had some sort of dust "orb's" in them and when i went to had my pictures developed on 5x7 photos, they came out a little fuzzy for my taste. Now, I'm not a professional photographer (nor do i pretend to be) but i expect to take a picture and not get any "extra's" in my shots. How was i supposed to enjoy my christmas photos when i have dusty bloches and on my forehead and my christmas tree al fuzzy? Not possible. I hope I never have another camera is "unreliable" as this one.

I have had my Nikon Coolpix for five years now and it is excellent!! I have not ever come with a problem with it!! A good Reliable company the one thing I do not like about it is that it does not have a Panorama button on this camera ~ resort to panoramic programs for that.

got this camera right after it came out... i have the sleek blue color which is really striking in person.  i chose this camera because of it is just so easy to use - from the first time i picked it up, i knew how to use it.  the controls and functionality of the camera are just so intuitive that it's a breeze to figure out  how to use it quickly.  no paying for functions that you can't ever figure out how to use! i'm not a big fan of the software that it came with, it's really minimal.  i prefer to use kodak easyshare software from my last camera, but it works just fine with any camera - so i recommend that you use whatever picture-downloading-and-storing interface that you prefer. most of the pictures that i take are excellent, but there are entire days of pictures where all of them are shaky or blurry or everyone has red eye... and then there are entire weekends of perfect pictures.  i'm sure it's just me - i just need to learn how to take great pictures. definitely recommend this camera for anyone that needs a small, sleek, easy to use camera with great results but doesn't necessarily care about all the bells and whistles of other cameras that, honestly, you're not going to use anyway!

The NIKON COOLPIXs50c Has an awesome LCD screen. Provides crystal clear photos everytime and Is very easy to use. The sound quality is excellent and I really enjoy making fun videos. I love the sleek look of the NIKON COOLPIXs50c is also one of the reasons i bought it. It looks cool. Tons of features like "people finder" or "anti shake mode" are two of my favorites. The ability to  connect to the T.V is hours of fun at my house. I love the auto focus feature as well. My own eyes dont work as well as that does. An overall easy camera to use for almost anyone. My children work the camera like professional photographers, entertainment for them for hours and hours. which is relaxation for hours and hours. All in all I love my camera very much and am very glad that I bought it.
