camera lens lasted less than 200 pictures; wasted my money

The compact design and stylish color scheme made this an attractive camera. Beyond these selling features the camera had very little to offer.I took less than 200 pictures with it before the lens quit working. Ihave read several reviews that were critical of the lens and my experience supports this point. Overall, the camera was not worth bringing home.

I have just purchased this camera recently. And i positutely love it! You can make great videos and take dazzling pictures. I often use this camera for business work and to take pictures for my house for sale. My friends, family, relatives also think its great and are constantly asking me were did you get it. Also this camera is slim and has a cool unique design. I think that it takes amazing pictures indoors as well as outdoors. I received my Nikon Coolpix S200 as a Christmas gift, and have been grateful since I got it. It is a handy camera that is small enough that I can take it wherever I go, which is useful when on vacation or just hanging out around town. It had a video feature, which I absolutely love. I have been able to share videos of my friends and family online with others who are related to me. I also like that it has a timer feature on it, because I have been able to take pictures of my family and friends AND still have been able to be in the picture myself (which is a rarity for me) because I can set the timer...

I love my Nikon Coolpix S200!

My husband is a professional photographer and has always prefered the Nikon brand. When he bought me my Nikon Coolpix S200 a year ago for my birthday I was doubtful because I'm a Kodak girl! I've definitely been converted. My Nikon takes amazing pictures and the resolution is much better than my old Kodak was. It works so well. I have even dropped it off the side of a rock face that I was climbing and all it received was a small dent and still works perfectly! I love the recharageable battery. It lasts forever. I just got the Nikon Coolpix s200 and it is the absolute best value, incredible zoom and clarity for a price that someone new to digital cameras might not mind paying.

It's fairly easy to use although you have to read the manual and it takes a little getting used to if you've never had a nikon.

It has a rechargeable battery that is extremely convenient and the whole camera fits perfectly into a pocket.

got this last year for a christmas present and love it

its been great size, shape, pictures, options...

the only bad thing is it eats through batteries but then again what doesnt

i have taken so many pictures, even my mom has been able to figure out how to use it...its small and compat and fits great in your hand.

there are so many options too - day/night/movement/face/ portrait/ movie camera

The Coolpix S200 is a great camera for the money. It's small, stylish and packs a lot of bang for the buck. Its large viewscreen makes it easy to see the subject. Pictures come out clear and fresh looking. The multiple settings are great for cool photography. I was particularly impressed with the "sunset" setting. It allowed me to take outstanding photos of the stages of sunset. I recommend this camera highly.

Dos not have the steam of a Sony

It's flash bounces on to the picture and ruins it.I had a sony it was much better. also the Coolpix does not have the range in ints lens for wide angle ans it also creates horrible red eye.I am so disappointed with the money I spent on this camera.
