The quality pictures we've taken with this camera is beyond our expectations. I thought the brand name would be enough to guarantee quality.

I needed up update and downsize my 1999 Sony Digital Camcorder/Camera.  I did a bit of research but allowed the brand name Nikon to represent leading edge and quality.  So far while under warranty, it simply stopped turning on, but this was intermittent and not reliably reproduced. … read full review »

decent point and shoot for everyday pictures
Happy laptopper, appreciative of good service, cost-conscious, not rich, pc-user, willing to pay more for quality, married

I got this camera from my husband for Christmas last year.  My previous camera was beat to crap, so I was super excited to get this one.  For everyday point and shoot pictures, this was exactly what I needed.  I didn't want advanced photographs, I just wanted to make sure i got pictures of my friends before I went overseas.  I wish the time between pushing the shutter button and taking the picture was shorter, but since I don't have any kids running around, it was just a small inconvience.  slipped easily into the back pocket of my jeans, and handled a couple spills… read full review »
