Nikon COOLPIX S4 Digital Camera Review

My husband and I bought this camera over a year ago for my birthday. To this day, I can get better zoom and often better pictures than friends who have much newer cameras. I love that I can flip the screen and see myself as I take the photo, because my husband and I often like to take photos of both of us... but there isn't always another person there to do the favor. The videos are a little grainy compared to other cameras, but we use this primarily for still photography and have had excellent success!

I use long lasting lithium batteries, but have been saved a few times because I can throw in traditional AA batteries if my good ones run out. An excellent feature if you travel. The lenscap is attached and even though I throw this in my purse without looking, I have never cracked or damaged the cap or lens. It has never turned on by mistake and uses the most easily available SD memory cards.

Overall, this is my favorite camera we own by far... and we have 6 if you include a video camera that akes digital stills, as well!
