My wife and I have always believed in capturing the moment since we do so much traveling both for our work and for leisure. A couple of years back when neither of us had the salary we had now, we looked for the best quality budget buy and one we found was this camera. While there were many more attractive and much more expensive cameras around it, we decided to go with this because it was in our price range and it was a great product for the money. I still recall using this camera for our trip to Colorado, and while the pictures weren't out of this world, they were good enough for us to keep. The pictures all came out with a good sharpness and clarity and there were no blurred or static filled images when we used the zoom. Additionally, this camera is fairly uncomplicated to use since it just has your basic buttons and settings. While it isn't something for capturing a Monet, this camera is affordable and great for casual use in just about any setting.

I misplaced my camera and needed one like immediate so I ran to the store and found this Nikon -Coolpix S220 digital camera. It's the best little camera that I have had in a long time. I am almost glad that I misplaced my camera. Even the color is a fun easy to see purple. It does come in other colors but I thought purple would be easy to find. It isn't a expensive camera, is metal and takes a decent still picture. Image Quality I haven't tried taking moving object like kids playing soccer but for things not moving, like flowers, bushes it does fine and the colors seemed to be good. Performance Depending on what you are going to take picture of this little camera has a place in our house. I can take it with me and if it decides to fin a new home I won't be upset as I don't have that much invested. Ease of Use I hate reading manual and this camera is so simple I was able to figure it out without much assistance. Durability I don't think that I have ever worn a camera out. I lose them, drop them or some other unfortunate thing happens so I am not a good judge on this question. Battery Life Again I was surprised but I think it holds a charge for as long as my good camera. Portability The camera is slim so it will fit right in a pocket or purse The screen is 2.5 inches and even with my poor eyesight it is easy for me to see.

I owned this camera for about two years before getting rid of it. I really enjoyed how small and light this camera was. I also thought that the fact that it came in a color made it super cute.this model is super user-friendly. The color and quality comes out nice on the display screen on the camera and when u load them to the computer. The price is great on the camera, something that is a decent quality for a decent price. Image Quality The images come through clear with great color. The display screen on the camera looks great and the pictures when you let of the computer also looks great. Performance Overall the performance of this camera had been great but I have had this lens get stuck once or twice. Ease of Use Super easy to use for experts or beginners. The Diles are very self-explanatory and there is a handbook that comes with the camera that goes step-by-step for you. Durability So far seems pretty durable but I have not drafted to see if it holds up good to dropping. Battery Life I think this kid has a great battery life. However it doesn't hurt always have an extra battery on hand just in case. Portability Small light and very portable and easy to take on the go. I can carry this camera in my purse or I can take it in my pocket or I can just carry in my hand.

This is a wonderful camera for the casual user. I am not an expert photographer, so this camera suits my needs. The camera is very affordable, but takes nice pictures. It was difficult to take pictures in sunlight, so I had some issue there. However, this is not a huge deal because other pictures turn out great! I recommend this camera, but you may want something else if you are an expert. Image Quality Decent images. Performance This is a great beginners camera or for casual photographers. I like it because I like to take pictures without anything fancy added. This camera suits my needs perfectly. Ease of Use Very simple to use the basic features. The instructions were adequate for the more advanced features, such as taking video. Durability I dropped the camera without any major damage. I have nothing bad to say here. Battery Life Battery life is lacking. I can use the camera for about three hours before the batteries are dead. I recommend rechargeable batteries. Portability Very small camera and it packs a huge punch! This camera fits in my pocket and it is not bulky at all.

I love taking pictures of my kids pretty much everywhere we go, it's nice to have the pictures for memories. I got tired of lugging my big camera everywhere so I bought the Coolpix during a really good sale. So far I love this camera! It is so small, fits nicely in my purse or pocket even. It also takes amazingly high quality pictures. I was shocked at how good my pictures where coming out. It focuses so sharply and I rarely have a blur anywhere in my pictures. It has other features too like zoom and a video recorder. It is very easy to transfer pictures over to a computer to print or post on social media. For the price this is a great camera and I highly recommend it. Image Quality My pictures come out sharp and focused. I was amazed at how good they looked considering how inexpensive this camera was. Ease of Use I am not a professional and it was very easy for me to use. Durability So far has held up very well. Portability Nice and small. I can easily fit this in a small purse or even a pocket in my jeans.

I purchased this camera online, and I'm not an expert photographer (although sometimes i really do an amazing job!) But this is by far one of my favorite cameras I have ever owned. It is very portable because it is compact, but that does not take away from it's abilities. You are able to change the themes of your pictures. It has a very sleek design. I would recommend this product to anyone! It is among the lightest, smallest, and most affordable. It is very impressive! This is perfect for a beginner or even someone who is intermediate. Perfect product to capture those perfect and amazing times in your life. It is very versatile. There is a lot that can be done with this Nikon. It is a compact point and shoot camera. It has an easy to use menu system and has first class image quality. Plus it has a high quality LCD screen. Very easy to navigate and so easy to use! Plus it has a great overall image and reputation.

The Nikon Coolpix camera is rather easy to use. I like that it has many settings you can choose from to take really good pictures. I have had this camera for almost a year now and cannot complain much about it since it takes good pictures. When I first got it I was surprised at how light it felt and thought I paid too much for a camera that I assumed was made from cheap materials but I was wrong. Just because it felt light in weight did not mean it was one of those cheap cameras instead I realized it was actually a higher quality camera. I think this camera was worth the money. This camera comes with a USB cord to transfer images onto a computer or you can use an SD card as well. Image Quality For a small camera this gets really good images. Performance So far the performance has been up to my standards. Ease of Use It is easy to use.You just choose a setting or let the camera choose for you and take a pic. Durability Like I said I thought this camera was made of poor quality but it is actually made rather well and so far has been quite durable. Battery Life I'm giving it a six because like most digital cameras it seems like the battery always runs out too quick even though there is still juice left in the battery. Portability Really quite easy to carry around and use while traveling.

I was in the market for a new digital camera that didn't cost too much for our budget. This was back before my daughter was born. I wanted to be able to take tons of pictures of the new baby and have them in digital form. What drew me to choosing the Nikon Coolpix S220 Digital Camera was the super cool colors featured on the camera. We went ahead and chose the purple color, which I believe is called plum. I don't know much about cameras, but I heard that 10 megapixels were good, which is the megapixel count on this specific camera. When I first got this camera, the pictures turned out good. Not great, but definitely good enough. I enjoyed the red eye fix on the portrait system and the zooming feature as well. However, after some several months of use, the camera has definitely worn down. The shutter hesitates when powering on/off, the picture quality seems to have gotten fuzzier and it pauses for too long in between takes now. This is an okay get-me-by kind of digital camera, but I would not recommend it for prolonged use as it does not hold up for very long.

I bought this Nikon coolpix about 4-5 years ago. It has been a great camera. The mega pixels are great for a starter camera. For people like me who like to take lots of photos everywhere i go, it fits in my pocket and take it everywhere. The screen is a good size what photos i have taken. Love the zoom. Takes great photos at the beach in the bright sun. I have even taken photos of fireworks, comes out nice and clear just had to use a stand to hold it still. The only down side i have had is the battery is starting to give out, but it still charges and holds a charge. It is just not as long as it used it. I could just buy a new battery and it would be like new again. Image Quality Great images. I have taken photos inside,outside, and even moving. Always get a great shot. Performance I have never had a problem with performance. It has always been a great camera. Fast start and close fast once turned off. Zoom works great and fast. Ease of Use It's a nice camera for a mom on the go. I keep in my pocket. I take it everywhere, playgrounds, beach, walking in the woods. Durability I have dropped it a couple of times but it was in a nice hard case. Works like it never met the ground. Battery Life I believe it has done pretty good for the 4-5 years i have had it. I am a everyday picture taker. I do charge it every couple of days now. For the first 3 years i didn't have to carge as often. Portability Great pocket fit. I take it everywhere in my pocket or purse.

I bought this camera whilst I was on vacation as my other one broke and this was relatively cheap (I'm pretty sure I got it on sale) and readily available. I've been really happy with it's performance and would definitely recommend it for everyday/ vacation use. Image Quality Overall the image quality comes out really nicely, sometimes I find that the photo will be unusually dark, even if there's a lot of natural lighting, there's just an strange shadow over the whole picture. It doesn't happen all that often though, and it could well just be a thing my specific camera does. Ease of Use It's super easy to use, it truly is a "point-and-shoot" camera. It has a very responsive touch screen which you use to do pretty much everything like select the settings you want, slide between photos and all that stuff. Durability I haven't dropped mine (yet), but it doesn't feel particularly durable so if you're more on the clumsy side then this may not be the ideal camera for you.
