This is such an awesome camera for the price.  Have had it for about a year and a half.  Great options on aperture, focus, resolution and such.  I recently accidentally dropped it in a parking lot when the wrist strap broke. It hit the asphalt from about a 4 foot drop and did not even scratch it.  Still works great!

I brought this camera to vegas the first time I used it and it was so simple I didn't even need to read the instructions! Daylight, nightlight, brightlights, the auto focus and auto adjusts made my pictures look great, even through the car window! The zoom goes really far, and is incredibly easy to use. There was a time when i dropped it and it didn't break which is definately a plus, but it was on carpet, so I woudn't drop it on any floors. When it came time to put my pics onto the computer, there was no trouble at all, just plugged it into the USB port and zap, my pictures looked just as great on the screen, blown up, projected, they were just as great as they looked in the viewfinder. Printing the pictures was also good, the details came out great. I used photo paper and got a great result. All in all, this a simple to use camera for anyone who likes to take pictures but doesn't want any fussing to get a great shot.

We got this camera just before our first daughter was born so that we could capture every moment of her young life. It HAS done that! Pros: Some features I really like are the easy to adjust dial on top that makes it super easy to change from video to camera modes. The large screen to view the pictures is very nice, although today they offer even larger ones. The battery being an ion battery holds plenty of charge and if it runs out it charges back up rather quickly! Cons: Videos are in mov format which is hard to convert, having something to do with mac vs pc. This is upsetting because I had high hopes for editing video, making cool dvd's and sending them to my far away mom so she could stay in touch with us. Boo! Another con is that when you view pictures there are various words displayed over your picture so if you really wanted to see the edge of your picture you can't. If you decide to not use the flash you MUST hold the camera VERY still or else you will have fuzzy pics!

i love all the features of this camera. theres a self timer flash movie maker picture editor. you can take a picture crop it up and save the picture the way you want it.  it has a 10 second timer on the camera so you can pose by yourself and take the picture by yourself.
