I have been taking photos for many years. Some great, some good, some not so good (photos, not years).

For the last 5 years I have been using a Sony 3.1 MP camera, which is a great camera, but it was very bulky and I was limited in the clarity of close up photos.

After doing a lot of research on newer cameras I had narrowed down my search to Sony, Olympus and Nikon.

I went to Wal Mart to look at and hold the cameras physically. I found that all of them were relatively comperable except for price. The Nikon was significantly less.

Nikon coolpix digital camera provide a excellent photo quality and easy to use. it has 12 scenes to choose, so you can get a good photo in any conditions. it also provide sport photo, it make more fun for your photography experiences.

Just one of the good points of the Nikon Coolpix L12 digital camera is that it has a standby mode that saves battery power. With my old camera, I had to bring whole packs of batteries with me if I was gone for the whole day. With this camera, I can use one set of batteries and still take all the pictures I want. It also has so many photo and color options so I can take some of the best pictures. I love this camera!

Love my Nikon L12-comparing it to a few Kodak cameras I have owned in this same
price range it is much better !
People have commented that it eats Batteries-mine does not.
It can get more than 150 Pix on one charge
You can use just plain ol AA batteries but they do not last as long.
For Best battery life use a quality Digital Camera Battery-check the battery Exp. date.
I purchased this camera and batteries over a year ago on sale at Circuit CIty.
I'm stilll recharging and using the same batteries-SO IT PAYS YOU in the long run to
invest a bit more, get Digitial Camera Batteries and a charger.
