This is an older model of the point and shoot camera variety. It has been dependable and has worked well ever since getting it over 7 years ago. I don't use it as often anymore with quick smartphone cameras now, but I do occasionally break it out for certain situations and it works well if you want a clearer picture and the ability to zoom. Its not the greatest camera in the world anymore, but it will do. Video isn't bad either. The various settings make it good for certain situations. It is still better than many smartphone cameras, though some more recent ones are beginning to eclipse the quality. Image Quality Pretty good and clear, zoom is okay but don't expect to zoom in too far for a clear one. Ease of Use Point and shoot. Doesn't get any easier. Durability Feels sturdy and has lasted a while, from about 2006 and still works just fine. Battery Life Can take plenty of pics before needed to switch. Portability It is fine for a regular camera but obviously not as easy to carry around as a smartphone.

I did a lot of research before I purchased this.  I wanted something that preformed in all light conditions and that had a good autofocus for situations where I wanted to just point and click and easy functionality when I wanted to focus it myself.  This is (for its time) and amazing point and shoot camera.  With some cameras, there are always minor tweaking thats necessary.  Its too dark or overexposed or not crisp enough.  That was never an issue with this camera.  Photos were practically perfect when using auto focus mode.  The downside to this is that auto focus mode does take some time.  Usually 3-4 seconds after you press the shutter it will take the photo and it will need another 5-10 at times to process it and be ready to take another photo.  Changing settings and modes will change this however.  I've done a lot of action shots at horse shows and I have gotten some really wonderful action shots - clear, crisp and perfect... and second after each other!  It does require some play time and manual reading to accomplish that thought.  I adore this camera and haven't looked for another point and shoot since because I really don't need to.  If all you want is something to take good pictures with and more complicated ones at other times this would be a really nice camera to pick up.   I also love the shape of this camera, the fact that it is not a simple rectangle allows your hand to more easily grasp this, and more importantly - not drop it!

I have both a digital SLR and a point and shoot. But I have had a point and shoot for a lot longer and have nothing but good things to say about it. I first started out with a very slow very  grainy point and shoot and decided to purchase another one. I researched it out and this Nikkion coolpix 7600 looked like the best  deal for my money. Well I loved it since the first time I used it! It takes pretty good pictures and I love the video feature. even though I use my digital SLR for pictures I use the video on the Nikkon every single day. The only thing that I don't like about it, is it takes a long time to :load" between pictures. meaning I can't take a bunch in a row. but other then that it's a great camera. It's been dropped SEVERAL times and it still works really great. It's easy to use which is always nice. I have had it for over 4 years now and it still works like it's brand new! I would defiantly say Nikkon is the way to go!

This camera is super cool - as the name depicts.  I received it second hand and did not have a manual.  It's almost self-explanatory and is a good quality camera.  I love the timer feature, and it also has a video feature on it.  The auto focus and auto flash works wonders.  I would definitely recommend it to anyone.
