Nikon - COOLPIX 4600 Digital Camera Reviews

I am reviewing the Nikon Coolpix 4600 Digital camera. Let me just start off by saying that this is really a great camera for the novice, or experienced photographer. It has an effective range of 4.0 megapixels, and a 3x optical zoom! I have found that the 4.0 megapixel range is capable of reproducing great high detail pictures, which make great 5x7 prints. Nikon cameras, even when rated at a lower megapixel rating still tend to have a higher quality cmos sensor capable of capturing more vivid detail than many other consumer brands. The 3x optical zoom is also a very nice addition to the unit itself....

This Nikon-COOLPIX 4600 digital camera is sufficient for taking simple pictures like for Ebay, etc. Which is what I use it for mostly. I tend to have problems with reflections from the flash on new plastic covered items and items with electronic screens, but the picture doesn't seem to come out as good when using it without the flash. I usually have to take the picture on an angle when using the automatic flash mode. It does take good pictures of written details when zoomed all the way in as long as you don't get a reflection from the automatic flash. It is a good handy size that is easy...

The Nikon Coolpix 4600 is a fantastic beginner digital camera that combines a clear LCD live screen that allows you to visualize the picture you are taking and user friendly console that is easily mastered. The camera captures great high-resolution images very light weight, and is perfectly suited for shirt pockets Not much larger than a credit card ,capable of focusing as close 1.6 inches , Operating this camera is so straightforward I doubt you'll need the manual for much more than reference, although it's definitely worth reading about how to use the Best Shot Selector function for low-light photos, and learning to use the Preset White Balance option. nice selection of external control buttons, making it very easy-to-navigate .

This is a great little digital camera.  Most point and shoot digitals have blurred pictures.  Usually it is difficult to hold the camera still enough to keep camera shake from ruining your shots.  This camera is the exception.  The pictures are sharp and blur free.  It takes great shots in low light situations.  There are a few manual controls available.

I have enjoyed my Nikon Cool Pix. I let my ten year old grandson use while we were on vacation and he took great pictures without knowing anything about the camera but where to click.

We used the camera for close ups as well as regular. I have used the sports feature, where you can take the pictures faster.

 The portrait feature allows you to take great portraits easily.
