Great pictures, but is already starting to fail!

Pros

Good pics when proper settings used., long lasting battery, sharp pictures

Cons

Slow flash recharge time, Shutter sticks and won't close., slow shutter speed

Nikon - COOLPIX 4600 Digital Camera —

We purchased the Nikon 2 wks before my daughter was born. She's now 2 1/2 & I guess I should be grateful that it's lasted this long but the the shutter lens is starting to stall out. You have to turn the camera on & off a couple of times for it to open. The picture quality is fantastic & it's fairly easy to use. I just hope that the lens failing to open is not the start of a downhill slide!
