Nike - Shox Navina + Running For Women —
I've been buying nike shox for 8years now, Ive now been through 6pairs, the navinas will be my 7th and Im very happy with them.Shox with running/walking/normal wear and tear, usually lasted me 1year maybe a little bit over that.
I bought the Pink/white/silver navinas and Im very pleased with them. They do come in a WIDE variety of colors which is nice!
When you first put them on they have a more than normal hard feeling to them, I was nervous about them at first. But, once you start walking in them, and running they are not only comfortable, but the jarring of my legs/ankles/knees while running was less! Which is a MAJOR PLUS! They have wonderful traction! I'm hoping that, the traction will last as I've had trouble before with outside running a lot and them wearing down making them almost slippery on the bottom.
The Navinas also have the option of Nike-Ipod. Which I went ahead and bought with my shoes from east bay the shoes and these sensors were $133 all together and thats with free shipping. "Shoes were 104.99 by themselves, a normal price on the net" The Nike Ipod is a sensor that goes in your shoe, as well as a sensor which plugs into your Ipod "Nano" and it measures distance, time, speed, calories..etc.. You can create your own workout and it can also learn your workouts. Your Navinas have a place for the sensor to go in your shoe under the insole, I was also nervous about the comfort of this but, it took just a minute and I was use to it! Once you are done with your workout you replace the sensor with the padding that went where the sensor was. Confusing but, its simple when doing this in person.
I definitely reccomend the Navinas to anyone who is looking for a Good Running/Walking/Anything shoe.
They also have the Mesh which is the only kind of Nike Shoe I will buy, No Leather Shox for me, Ehh!! The Mesh provides less stiffness, more comfort, and your feet get to breathe! Which is much needed when running long distances, and just healthier either way whether you are using them for walking, running, or just a cute shoe that you want! =)
*A Quick tip for those of you like me who have a wider foot, I wear a size 8. But, I've always had to get a 8.5 with shox and thats been every year I've ever bought them, and this pertains to the mesh only the leather kind I have tried on they were my normal size "8".
