I have utilized Nike iD (iD = Individually Designed) twice to create shoes. While it's a long process, takes about 6-8 weeks to get your shoes in the mail, it's well worth the wait for anyone who likes to design their own stuff.
Nike iD allows one to create shoes, bags or watches. From a shoe perspective, you can basically get any Nike shoe and customize it to meet your needs (from a color only standpoint).
