You don't have to be a fashionista to look like one. I am a casual runner who has happened to run four marathons. I enjoy running, but sometimes need that extra bit of motivation to get out the door. The Nike New Adventure Running Skirt does the trick every time.
For years I have worn "standard" running attire - shorts and a t-shirt or running shirt. But then, I heard about running skirts. At first I had trouble locating the Nike skirt and bought skirts from two other companies. They were adequate, but I kept looking for the Nike one. The buying process could have been problematic considering shipping, uncertainty regarding size (Nike tends to run small), and uncertainty about product quality. Despite the fairly high price ($60), the skirt did not disappoint.
Though the skirt is a bit mini, there is a "hidden" biking short underneath, so you don't have to worry about being covered. The dri-fit fabric breathes well and doesn't get heavy or cling to your legs. There is also a small back pocket for a key or money for a cab home. Most importantly, the skirt is very stylish and fun!

Interesting. I guess they are like skorts but shorter (if you remember them). I had a chuckle that you "happened to run 4 marathons." I think you did lots of training for them:) jo
