When I use the workout room in my apartment complex I often want to bring along a water bottle, a towel, and sometimes even a book if I plan to ride the exercise bike for a while. It started getting awkward to cart all this stuff around, but I didn't want to bring a great big gym bag either. Luckily I found the Nike Gym Sack, which has been perfect for my needs.

The Nike Gym Sack is made of 100% nylon and has a cotton cord through the top to cinch it shut. The cord is affixed to the bottom of the bag. The gym sack measures about 17" top to bottom and about 12" across. The bag does not have much rigidity except near the bottom, where some plastic piping gives it some structure.

The interior is pretty roomy and of course is very flexible. I can easily stick in a water bottle and the towel, then set a newspaper or book on top.  The fact that its nylon is also good, in case the bottle drips or there is moisture on the towel.

The Nike Gym Sack is best cleaned with a damp cloth and some freshening spray. I wouldn't run it through the washing machine because the cord would probably shrink or fray. It seems quite durable and well assembled. My bag is dark blue with black near the bottom and back, and the Nike symbol in gray. Nike sells this bag in a variety of colors, including pink, royal blue, and silver.

Overall I think the Nike Gym Sack is a great item to take to an exercise room or health club when you don't have a lot of clothing to change into. It would also be useful for carrying items in the car or on an outdoor event like a trip to the beach. Nike calls this item the B2.9 Gym Sack. It only cost $10, and I'm sure I'll continue to find even more uses for it in the future.
