Because winter is fast approaching, I purchased Nicole Miller Replenish Hydrating Masque to treat my dry and sensitive skin to a weekly infusion of moisture.  Nicole Miller, a well-known designer, has paired up with Melaleuca, a pharmaceutical company that produces and sells natural and non-detrimental products, from cleaning solutions to beauty products to vitamins.  According to their website, Nicole Miller products "are designed to work with your natural features, using the latest formulas and natural ingredients, to reveal, instead of conceal, who you really are."

The Nicole Miller Replenish Hydrating Masque is a light pink lotion-like masque that is dispensed from a white plastic tube.  It smells and looks like strawberry yogurt!  Delicious!  It contains blueberry, strawberry, and cranberry, and you can actually even see little particles of seeds in the masque itself.  Direction say to apply the masque generously to your skin, wait 5-10 minutes, then rinse with water.  The masque stays fairly wet and does not dry, like a mud masque would.

What I like about it:  The smell and feel are wonderful!  I love that it contains antioxidants and natural fruit fibers to help my skin stay moist and smooth, especially when mine normally get rough and patchy with electric heat being on in the winter!  The price for a Melaleuca product isn't too bad: $14.50.  A little more than I normally pay, but for a natural product, I'm willing to pay more...but, wait...did I say natural?  I guess that brings me to...

What I don't like about it:  It's NOT natural!!!  While this specific product does not claim to be completely natural, it contains not one, not two, not even three, but four...count them with me...FOUR parabens!!!  I am so irritated!  For a company that claims to use natural ingredients and not include harmful ingredients in their Melaleuca, Body Satin, Envia, and other lines, this sure is a different road they're taking!  The Melaleuca website does not list ingredients for these products as they do with many other products, so I feel very misled.  I would not have bought the masque had I know it contained parabens.  On top of that, while my skin does feel smoother, it does NOT feel more hydrated.  After using the masque, within 20 minutes, my skin feels tight and I have to go put on a moisturizer!  I had a little bit of redness as well, so despite the fact that their website says it's suitable for dry and sensitive skin types, I beg to differ.

I do NOT recommend this product, and I am actually very disappointed in the entire company and am considering ending my membership because of the lack of disclosure and inclusion of potentially harmful ingredients.

I would be upset about that too. I guess it's not lying if you don't say anything!
