Since their US break-through album, Silver Side Up, these guys have delivered countless hits & rock anthems to the airwaves. I'd recommend to any listener who truly enjoys Nickleback to go back even further than SSU, and pick up a copy of Curb and The State as well. Frontman/ songwriter Chad Kroeger has always had a flare for words, and can turn out hook after hook, almost guaranteeing you'll have one of his songs on repeat in your mental jukebox. Since the line-up changed to include Daniel Adair (formerly of 3 Doors Down) on drums, the backup vocals have become a bit stronger, sounding a little more polished. As for the most recent CD, All The Right Reasons, it's a must have! Next Contestant is a song that was originally on Hesher, the band's Indie debut release. Don't assume you know what the entire album sounds like based off any one song you've heard. Just like the rest of their albums, the song styles run the gamut from rock anthem to the occasional folk-ish tune. I guess my advice to any NB listener would be this: Check it ALL out!! You won't be disappointed!
