The majority of my life purchasing cheaper branded hair products I decided to splurge and spend more on the Nexxus Dualiste Shampoo and Conditioner. Let me first start by saying it smell AMAZING. Love, love, love the smell! Though, like other people I have encountered, the product is a bit difficult to dispense from the bottle, ESPECIALLY with wet hands! After finally getting the product out of the bottle, the shampoo was a very weird consistency and I was hesitant to even use it...one I did, I was overcome by the amazing smell...but then shortly after I was unfortunately overcome with the difficulty of physically washing it out of my hair. After about 4 separate rinse outs I still felt like there was product/residue left in my hair. I decided to give up and hope that once my hair dried it would feel better. Nope. Once my hair was dried it did feel like there was residue in my hair, kind of a dull greasy feeling, and it didn't exactly look good either. Quite embarrassing to head to work after a shower with your hair looking worse than it did when you got IN the shower! Needless to say I am pretty disappointed that I lost that money with a product that I won't even be using again...except to maybe smell it once it awhile because it smells so good. -haha

I've been using many Nexxus products for the past few years now, and finally gave in to trying the dualiste products. I haven't tried them, mainly as they were more expensive than the usual nexxus products I use, but found it on clearance. I got the Color Protection & Intense Hydration, and it leaves my hair nice and soft, without fading my color out. The scent is great, very light and clean. I honestly couldn't feel much of a difference than the usual Nexxus shampoo and conditioner I use. (Color assure and color ensure). If I don't find it on sale or clearance again, I probably won't buy it, as it's cheaper for the other. It seems like this is used up faster to me, or maybe because the bottle is clear. I love the pump on the bottle, compared to their usual squeeze bottles. I wish all of their products were designed with this bottle. I do like the product, and might try the other dualiste products someday. It's Nexxus, so it's great!

I've always been curious about Nexxus products.  They are available at my local pharmacy but they are quite pricey compared to other brands of shampoo and conditioner so when I received a coupon for any Nexxus product I thought I would give it a try.  Even with the coupon it was more expensive than what I normally spend for shampoo, but I thought that maybe it would be a superior product because of the cost.  Unfortunately I don't think it is worth the extra expense.  First, I find it very difficult to use this product.  It comes in a pump form but not the typical type of pump.  This pump is very difficult to use and when the pump is pressed down a very small amount of shampoo is dispensed making it necessary for multiple pumps to get enough for one shampoo.  Putting the dispensing difficulty aside, the product itself doesn't seem any different than the less expensive brands I usually purchase.

I had high hopes for this Nexxus Dualiste product. In the past, I've used Nexxus and either really liked the product or really didn't. I found this one to be somewhere in the middle. I have very fine hair but a lot of it. This product seemed to dry out my hair the more I used it. I'm not a daily shampooer so it doesn't seem like it was from overuse. I ended up contacting the company to tell them that my hair was becoming more and more dry with continued use of their product. I was happy they stood behind their name and offered a coupon to purchase different Nexxus products if I returned this one to them. I did that and was happy to try something else (more in another review) from their line. I thought the price was high for the quality. It just seems that the Nexxus products from years ago were a much higher quality than the ones they have on the market now. With so many choices out there in hair care, I think they need to step up the quality a notch or two.

This shampoo is really good,it cleanses gently yet effectivly and smells pretty good.Rinses clean and leaves the hair looking and feeling really smooth shiny and healthy.This stuff really does make the hair feel softer and the color protecting ingredints do a nice job on keeping the color nice and vibrent!The bottle is neat looking and I think that is cool watching the two shampoos in the bottle mix together in my palm.The name nexxus is always in my mind with quality and salon profesionalism.I love the way the shampoo leaves my hair feeling as if i have never colored or dryed my hair before,that perfect virgin hair of my childhood days!I I use the complete dualist hair system and have not regret it since.this shampoo is really effective at washing the dirt away without taking any of the healthy oils away from my hair it never strips my hair or ever leaves it feeling dry.The only thing that I would change is the smell although pleasant it does have a weak scent,I would like a little more smell to it.Although for people who dont like to mix smells or perfumes this one is for you as well!there is no need to worry about perefumes clashing with this...

While I was pregnant I thought why not let my hair grow out. Due to coloring and weather it became dry and started breaking and the nexxus shampoo and conditioner took care of all the breakage and left my hair looking wonderful. It did not dull my color either.

I love all nexxus products. the shampoo and conditioner are the best, and I have used all kinds, expensive and cheap ones. I have really dry, coarse curly hair and this stuff works great for it. It also smells great too! The quality makes it where you use less product also. The only bad thing is the price point, but I find it on sale at drugstores and stock up! Being a busy mom I love it when I find a great product! This is also very mild on my color treated hair. It does not make my color fade or look brassy. It makes my hair soft and manageable, and makes my curls look more natural and not frizzy and wild. I have a cabinet full of hair products and I will dig through it to find the nexxus! I give all the other stuff to my kids and hubby to use! The dualiste that is the shampoo conditioner in one is great also, I love the convenience of haveing two products in one. But I also love the shampoo and conditioner by themselves.

The Nexxus Dualiste shampoo was a great find.  I was buying my shampoo from my hair salon at a very big cost.  I was afraid I couldn't find another one to match it.  Then I tried the Nexxus Dualiste and I will never go back to paying an outrageous amount for my shampoo.  I have been very pleased with the product and intend to continue using it.  I hope it is never discntinued! I have color treated hair, natural curl, and a tendency to frizz in humidity.  This product addresses all my shampoo needs. I think if you try it you will be as pleasantly surprised as I was.

This is why I use Nexxus dualiste shampoo.I have always kept my hair rather long.Over shoulder length.However,my hair in various parts of my head is much thicker than most.Add to this that it tends to get dry and wont stay how it should,even after conditioning and styling.My girlfriend wanted me to really grow my hair out,throughout my head.Meaning as in,dont get it cut or thinned.Just let it keep growing out.I could still manage it alright,but once Id step outside,it would be goin in all directions and itd look pretty scary.My bangs are extremely long too.A stylist whom recently cut split ends from my hair says-dont use that 99 cent crap anymore,nor any of them that have alcohol in them.Use a good hydrating shampoo.I found out this product is sold in many retail outlets now.It looks pricey but really isnt.The very small amount that is needed makes the bottle last much longer than many regular/typical brand shampoos.It has color protection as well.It is a very rehydrating product that has met my expectations fully and completely.The pump on the bottle makes for easy and accurate amounts for each hair wash as well.I would highly recommend this product.
