I tried this Nexxus Thermal volume volumizing heat protection mousse because I always like to try new products and I liked the Nexxus brand for my shampoo. I still haven't found the perfect mousse and so I gave the Nexxus mousse a try and I am glad that I only bought a small bottle because it left my hair very sticky and clumpy with a white residue. The residue was so gross that I had to wash my hair out right away and I threw the bottle away. I am notorious for never throwing things out until they are all used up but this product justified it. I really like the other washing products but have not been impressed the Nexxus styling products. I have also tried the Nexxus hairspray and was not pleased with the results. I would recommend avoiding the nexxus styling products and use only for washing and conditioning. I say no to the white nasties and although I want volume and reduced fly aways I do not want a sticky mess with clumps:-)

I love Nexxus.  I know when I buy it that I am getting a quality product every time.  There is no alcohol in this product.  That is the number 1 thing I look for when I am getting anything that is supposed to condition or protect my hair.  I blow dry and straighten/curl my hair every day so I knew I needed something to keep my hair protected from the heat, especially since I also color/highlight my hair.  I was so glad that I found this because there was alcohol in every other product that I found.  I figure if the goal is to protect the hair and leave it looking hydrated and healthy, you can't use a product that has alcohol which is designed to dry out.  My hair is going to be much better off for finding this product.  It definately doesn't weigh your hair down and it smells amazing.  I rarely find a product that I buy a second bottle of, but I have a really good feeling about this one.

I love Nexxus Thermal Volumizing Heat Protection Mousse. I am constantly using a blow dryer or straightening iron on my hair, and I worry about the damage the heat is causing to my hair. I have tried various products throughout the years, and never found anything that I really liked and that did not leave a residue behind. However, this Nexxus Heat Protector works great. It does not leave a sticky residue behind, and it smells so good. It is easy to apply and goes in smooth. It leaves my hair smooth, silky, and with just enough volume. I apply it each time before I blow dry and straighten my hair. It is easy to use, and I feel that it really does protect my hair from all of the heat I use on it. Nexxus leaves my hair silky, shiny, and smooth. I already have thick hair, but sometimes it still doesn't look full enough, so this volumizer/heat protector really does do the trick. It leaves my hair looking full and healthy even after I have blow dried and straigtened it.

I have thin, limp hair. It is naturally wavy, so I often blow dry it straight, and occassionally use the Chi Straightener, as well. This Nexxus Volumizing Heat Protection Mousse really volumizes!! I have no idea if it is really protecting my hair from the heat, but it is definitely full of volume and doesnt weigh my hair down. It also smells fantastic. My only complaint is that my hair feels a bit dry when I use it.

I am not usually someone who spends a lot of time or money on my hair. I have long, stick straight naturally blonde hair. Which also means I have soft, fine hair. Nexxus volumizing heat protectant mousse was on sale at my local drugstore AND I had a coupon so I thought I would try it. I didn't want something to make my hair feel sticky or weighted down. I wanted Volume but with the feel of no product residue. I had noticed that lately if I blow dried my hair it would keep some flyaways at bay, but was worried that the heat from the blowdryer would damage my hair. So when I seen that Nexxus had a mousse that both volumized and protected from heat damage I thought that this would be the best product to try. I bought Nexxus Volumizing Heat Protectant mousse and after I washed my hair and tried this new product I was pleasantly surprised. My hair seemed multiplied and remained soft and felt naturally thick. It wasn't sticky and helped to keep flyaways at bay.  My hair remained manageable and I was very pleased.  I would definitly recommend Nexxus Volumizing Heat protectant mousse, this mousse is AWESOME!
