There is nothing more worse in the world then knowing you can't go swimming in a pool, or a lake, or a ocean, or a pond, or a bog, or a backed up sewage system because you got a little scratch and you don't want to get a little infection from it. After I realized the horror of this possibility I had to find a way around it and that's when i stumbled across waterproof bandaids or bandages and not only then nexcare waterproof bandages. These are the most amazing invention the i've ever heard of since i was born. You can get a cut or scratch and put one of these nexcare awesome waterproof amazing power bandages on and then go swimming without anything bad happening to you. I could believe this was real when I bought and would require anyone in the world to buy them if they want to go swimming even if they don't have an open cut or wound, because you might as well be prepared when it does happen.

I had to have my 4th foot surgery and when I was finally allowed to shower I still wasn't to get the op site wet so I'd put on a Waterproof bandage.  My insision stayed nice and dry, healing went fast.

These bandages are the best for kids that I have ever seen.  I love how they seal all the way around the wound so dirt can not get in.  They are waterproof and kidproof!  I don't ever want to go back to band aid brand again!

We were going on vacation to a lake house so I bought Nexcare Waterproof Bandages just in case someone needed them.  Of course one of the boys got a cut the first day and needed the bandages so he could go in the water.  I had trouble getting the bandaid to stick once I got the outside paper off.  It's hard to take the sticky wrap off the bandaid then as soon as he got in the water it fell off.  I tried it again and it did the same thing.  This product didn't work for us.

Nexcare Waterproof Knee and Elbow Bandages are, in fact, waterproof. I have tried many bandages claiming to be waterproof, but that proved to be anything but. I had a bad wound from a brown recluse spider bite, and finding a bandage that was comfortable, truly waterproof and large enough to cover the wound was a big challenge. I finally found Nexcare Waterproof Knee and Elbow bandages and I was not disappointed. With this bandage, i was finally able to get in the pool, take a bath and shower and not worry that my wound would get wet or contaminated. It lasted the full 24 hours that I needed it to, without coming up at the edges. The only thing that was a bit difficult was removing the bandage, as the adhesive pulled at my skin. However, if I had been able to go for longer than 24 hours between dressing changes, I think it would not have been a problem. My skin got sensitized to the adhesive because of the numerous dressing changes and the fact that my wound took months to heal. For average wounds, this would not be an issue at all I don't think. They are more expensive than other bandages, but they are well worth it in terms of the quality of the product. A+++

These are great for toddlers and infants. It's more like a tattoo and they can't peel it off. My kids were always tearing their bandages off as soon as I would put them on. Or if they went swimming, they would come off too. But with this bandage, it won't come up in the pool and the kiddos can't seem to figure out how to peel it off. Perfect!
