Nexcare Knee & Elbow Bandages stay stuck!

5

I have always used a different brand of bandage but I could never find a bandage that would stay put when it came to scraped knees & elbows. I have children & especially during the summer months someone is always getting a scraped knee or elbow. Regular bandages are just too small & don't stay on the wound. Nexcare Comfort Flexible Fabric Knee and Elbow Bandages cover are large enough to cover the wound completely. The are made of a flexible fabric so they stay where you put them. They are also soft and comfortable so they don't hurt. The are also very absorbent. I can't believe I found a bandage that actually stays on an active child's knees & elbows while they play. But these really do the job!

Nexcare knee bandages are just the right size

When summer comes to our area you can guarantee that skinned knees and elbows aren't far behind for my kids. I am very budget conscious and tend to try to get by with spending as little as possible. For the longest time I would use multiple smaller bandages on my kids knees and elbows and convinced myself it was less expensive because the larger sizes were so much more expensive. Last year I had carpal tunnel release surgery on my wrist and needed to have something that would cover the area. My husband came home with Nexcare Comfort Flexible Fabric Knee and Elbow Bandages. The bandage fit comfortably on my wrist and allowed full movement. The adhesive was very strong and stayed in place well until it was time to replace the bandage. I never had one of the Nexcare Comfort Flexible bandages fall off. There was some irritation to my skin when I did remove the bandage but it cleared up pretty quickly. I usually only had to change them when they started looking really frayed and ragged looking.

Nexcare sticks to my knee all day

I fell...again.  Scraped my knee up pretty bad, so I called a friend since I was out of anything but the tiny bandages.  She came to my rescue (and quickly pointed out I had bruised my face as well) with some Nexcare bandages.  I was amazed that the size covered up my scrape with only one bandage!  It gave me the flexability to still bend me knee to hobble around the house, but it also didn't stick to my pants like some brands tend to do around the edges.  It stayed on my knee all day, even with bending, walking, and the such.  Then to add to it all, it came off my knee cleanly that evening.  My knee didn't have any sticky residue and the gauze pad part didn't stick to my "owie".  Luckily, my wonderful bandage provider left me the whole box, so I was able to redress my injury simply with the confidence that it would not bother me during the night.  I do know anything about their cost, but I am convinced that they are worth every penny spent on them.  I would especially recommend them to mothers of small children that scrape their knees more than I do (which is more than I want to!),  Their size might be a tad large for the little ones, but with the flexibilty that they have it might be no hinderance at all to their running and playing. Thanks Nexcare, I'm all better now!

Nexcare Stays Put

I love the Nexcare Comfort Flexible Fabric Knee and Elbow bandages. The size of these bandages is great for covering larger wounds, not only on knees and elbows, but anywhere you get a large wound. My son skateboards a lot and with the rough streets in my neighborhood, he gets his share of scraped knees, so I keep a supply of the Nexcare Knee and elbow bandages around. The bandages stay on and protect his scrapes throughout the day. Other bandages tend to come off easily with normal body movements, but these bandages don't. They move with you and only come off when you want them too. They have the ouchless removal, so you don't pull batches of hair off when you remove the bandage. The soft absorbant pad on this bandage doesn't stick to scrapes and cuts. It's great that a company designed a bandage that is friendly to the skin and good to the cut. I'm stuck on the Nexcare Comfort Flexible Fabric Knee and Elbow Bandages, because they are only stuck on us the way a bandage should be.

I have psoriasis and use these bigger bandages on my feet and my palms. They help keep the creme from wiping off and retain the moisture in my skin which prevents the pain from dry peeling skin. The thing I like the best is they stay on during the course of the day so your not changing them all the time. Also very flexible and move right along with you.

Comfortable Bandages!

A had this nasty bruise on my knee once and it was large, ugly, and bloody. I used other brands with the common bandages but they came off easily and would not stick once I began to walk or even stand up. I then tried another brand made for knee and elbow injuries but the plastic hurt and would eventually fall off. What I found that was different with Nexicare Comfort Flexible Fabric Knee and Elbow Bandages was that they were soft and stuck by forming around the shape of my knee. I could run and it wouldn't fall off or lose its stickiness. It is because that it was made for fabric material that it was soft and held my bloody bruise together, whereas other bandages caused my skin to comtinuously break apart once it began to heal. The only negative I can think of is that these bandages are very sticky and ripping them off can be painful sometimes so I always make sure that the cotton part is always bigger than the injury or my new skin would rip right off. Other than that, I trust Nexicare.

Nexcare is our Brand!

There are not too many brands of things that I am willing to pay full price for. I'm a budge-conscious, money-saving, mom of two active boys. We go through quite a few band-aids in the summer and have tried out a lot of brands. Nexcare makes the brand of band-aids that we use and do not have to reapply several times in a day. They even stay stuck on skin in the shower! We like that Nexcare is made of fabric and not plastic. Wow, what a difference that makes! Our 3 year old likes to go through band-aids with his "owies", but Nexcare stays stuck to his skin and does not come off like the plastic ones. I use them on myself as well - in fact, I have one on right now and it has lasted the entire day! It is worth it to buy a band-aid that will go the distance and last. There are occasional coupons available on the Nexcare website and they are really useful, but we'll buy Nexcare band-aids without them, too!

Being around atheltic people, I know that this bandage works. I have used them on children before, and they can run, jump and play without me worrying about their cuts and scraps getting dirty. This product will stick on you and stay on you. It will stay attached until you want to take it off. Unlike most bandaids, this product feels comforatable. It does not feel like it is pullying on your skin whenever you move it. It also allows your skin to breath, so you can wear this bandaid with confindence. The only drawback is that is can be a little pricey. It truly depends on where you buy it from. However, this product is worth its price. I would rather spend a little more on these bandaids than waste money on cheaper ones that don't stay on or protect cuts and scraps. In the end, this product can be viewed as a money saver. You only have to use one bandaid, instead of several ones. I will recommend this to family and friends any day.

A cut above the rest!

Being a mom of three teenagers and two pre-teens, we have definitely been through our share of bandages over the years (playground accidents, bike falls, skateboarding mishaps, etc.) I always found it necessary to keep a wide range of different size bandages around the house. When the kids were small all I knew about were, what else, Band Aid brand bandages, which are good quality but not the best for going around knees and elbows. It seemed to put it on tight enough, the kids would complain they couldn't really move their elbow or knee comfortably, and too loose was no solution either, since the bandage wouldn't adequately cover and protect from dirt, germs, and water. A few years back I discovered the Nexcare line of bandages. These are great because not only do they protect the wound till it heals, they also seal very well, stay put, and keep the area dry. These bandages come off when you take them off and not before. No peeling on the edges! I'm glad to have found this product and highly recommend it. My family has had no problems with skin irritation like some other reviews have mentioned.
