Newspaper for gift wrap. Review

During the holidays alot of people waste unecessary money on gift wrap and I use to be guilty too but i came up with an idea one holiday while sitting in my living room out of gift wrap and agrivated.It was really nasty outside and slick so I knew there was no way that I was going to be able to make it back out to buy some much needed gift wrap so as I was panicking because i had gifts to be delivered the next day I cam e up with an idea.I had some newspapers about 3 days worth sitting in my living room so I took them and used them as gift wrap.It worked great and it covered really well too.I was able to wrap 5 to 6 small gifts in no time and I didn't have to cut to much off eaither and it really got the job done.I am one who always is trying to find ways to recycle anyways so to me this was a great idea and it worked.Yeah the color is not the greatest but in reality who really cares about the wrapping paper and think about all the money that paper companies make off of you yearly and all people do is tare it to shredds to recieve the gift inside.So now I dont buy wrapping paper anymore I just recycle my old newspapers.No one in the family cares about the style ,just about whats inside and I have some of my friends doing it too.Think about it.We are saving money and recycling all at the same time and the paper ink is non-toxic and if everyone would do this then we could save alot of money or etleast a few cents here and there for maybe a little extra something that we might want for ourselves.
