While many consider Fox news to have a right wing slant (and they are probably correct), it is a nice answer to the extreme left wing slant of MSNBC, the slightly less extreme leftism of CNN and probably the only place you'll see the good news coming out of Iraq and Afghanistan. I've spoken with quite a few veterans of these campaigns and find the reporting of Fox to correlate more closely with the stories I've been told by these vets. Its a little hard to call Google News an actual news site. In reality its just this huge company that copys and pastes other news stories into its own website. having said that, google does a fantastic job. you can customize your site any way you like it so you will see only whatever news you want. i think though it becomes a little boring, because even when you buy a newspaper, even though there might be some sections that you never read, if you just happen to glance at a headline you might read that article. with google, its the same stuff over and over… read full review »

We started a Construction Business 11 yrs. ago & I've found that my husband is hooked on the Weather Channel. Why? He needs to know what to look out for the next day so he knows what job site to plan to be at. If it's going to be rainy, he plans his inside work. If it's going to be dry, he knows he can load up the tractor & do the outside jobs. I have msn set as my homepage because I use hotmail for my emails. I sometimes have trouble getting msn to pull up. I normally have to cruise a few other sites before I'm able to view msn. Don't know why that is. I've even tried removing them as my homepage, but still have problems initially pulling them up. — I do enjoy reading the headlines on msn. I started out online clueless and not knowing even how to type at age 35. I started with msn webtv. So it took me awhile to figure things out and I was on dial up at the time. Of course then I thought wow, I had missed out on "the next best thing" the www and MSN....so for about 5 years I learned alot and upgraded to msn webtv plus. Then I was finally talked into switching to a computer. The question was would I stay with MSN or go with another server. great site for finding the 'rest of the story' about stuff you see on nightly network news... I can find the local station that is in the area of the news story and find out more because they cover the story more in depth than the national news.
