So I just got a jar of new mans own sockarooni given to me and I made a rotini mixture with ground pork and used this sauce and it was absolutely incredible the whole family loved it!! It's now our new favourite jarred pasta sauce and we will be purchasing it many more times in the future it's very satisfying with the perfect blend of spices I would recommend it to anyone love it!

This is one of the first jarred sauces that I remember buying when I first got married and started cooking for my own family. I was introduced to this sauce by a friend and fell in love with it the first time I tried it. That was over 20 years ago and it is still my favorite jarred sauce. The flavor is very rich and bold and has just the right consistency. I don't like sauces that are too thin and runny. This is a hearty sauce that is great for spaghetti and meatball meals. I have made lasagna, baked ziti and just plain spaghetti with this sauce and it is great for all my recipes. Newman's sauce is one of the more natural sauces on the market and one that I feel good about feeding to my family. I try to make homemade things whenever I can but this sauce is perfect for times when I can't and don't have time to make sauce from scratch. Newman's makes great high quality products that I can feel good about feeding to my family.

I always make my own tomato sauces for my Italian dishes, but when I have no time, I turn to Newmans Own! The Sockarooni sauce is my favorite. It has tomatoes, peppers, and a whole bunch of other spices. The best part about it is that it's all natural. Newmans Own has a huge variety of flavors for any dish. They're on the cheaper side, which is great also. I still find jarred sauces are best when used for cooking, and not plain pasta. This sauce makes my chicken parmigiana taste wonderful. I highly recommend it!

For pasta sauce in a jar, Newmans sockarooni sauce is a convenient and tasty product for making a quick meal. Granted, making homemade tomato sauce is time-consuming but well-worth the effort. For those busy and hectic times, Newman's sauce is as close to homemade as possible. Simply open the jar and pour into a sauce pan. Heat the sauce and pour over any cooked pasta. That's it. I embellish the sauce while it is simmering by sprinkling in some oregano and a little extra virgin olive oil. Sometimes, I sprinkle in some parmesan cheese, too. Nemans sauce is affordable and does not contain preservatives or artificial colors.

Store bought pasta sauces have always tasted, well, store bought, even after adding my own spices. After using Newman's Own salad dressing I decided to try their sauces. I was happy to find they had a variety of flavors to choose from. (13 in all) I choose Newman's Own Sockarooni Sauce. The description on the front label, peppers, spices and the **whole shebang**, sounded interesting. The ingredients tomato puree, diced tomatoes, red and green bell peppers, mushrooms, onions, olive oil, spices and garlic are all natural. At home, as the sauce simmered, the kitchen filled with a wonderful aroma. Pieces of tomatoes, peppers, mushrooms and onions mingled throughout the sauce. The flavor was savory. This sauce tastes homemade! Finally! Great flavor without adding a thing.... We also use this sauce when we have Italian sausage sandwiches and everyone raves about the taste. I think I'll try the five cheese sauce next... Newman's Own products donates all profits to hundreds of charities within the United States and abroad, with a special emphasis on the communities where the products are sold.

I first tried Newmans Own Sockarooni pasta sauce while I was still living at home with my parents. I was very impressed with this product and have used it several more times now that I'm married and have a family of my own. I guess the most important thing about it is that it's made with all natural ingredients ( no high fructose corn syrup ). It's also wonderfully full of spices while still keeping the fresh tomato flavor. The texture is just right; not too runny that it runs to the bottom of your plate and not too thick that it stays in a "ball" on top of your pasta. I've also used this product as a pizza sauce and was pleased with the results. I've been very satisfied with this product and think it's worth the little extra money you may have to pay. After all, quality and taste is what most of us are looking for. Pick up a jar today, cook some pasta, and light some candles for a dinner you won't forget!
