Since I used to live in Las Vegas, I had the luxury of visiting any of the hotels and casinos whenever I wanted to.  I would have to say that New York New York is a great place to stay and play, even for the whole family.  This casino has a great location on the strip, as well as it is family friendly.

The coolest thing about this hotel and casino is the roller coaster on the roof of the building.  You can see it from a far.  It is called the Manhatten Express, and you can even purchase an all day ticket if you want to ride it over and over again.  I think a fun part of New York New York is the giant arcade inside.  You can spend a whole day there and never get bored.

The arcade is definately a place to bring the whole family, because they have such a huge variety of games to choose from.  We love to go there and play the crane games and winning stuffed animals for the kids, they had a lot of fun.

The hotel looks like you were right in New York City.  I have also been to NYC, and I think it looks quite authentic.  The casino gaming area is ok, not the worst on the strip but not the best either.  If you are looking for a fun place to go in Las Vegas with the whole family, this is by far the best place to go.

We don't gamble but Vegas is still on a list of possibilities. Do you travel a lot?
