This product surprised me a lot. This line of cosmetic is more on the cheaper side, but the quality isn't lacking! I tried the sheer red in this lipwear and I loved it. It applies well and doesn't wear off before you even leave your house. It last through almost the entire day-if you don't eat. This product comes in many different shades-so everyone and every personally type can easily find a color to match their style. This product is a steal. This lipstick also doesn't dry out my lips like some other lipsticks do and it's perfect for me.

This item was one of the first things that I tried from this line of cosmetics. I was skeptical due to the fact that the cost was so inexpensive and that usually translates in POOR quality. So needless to say I was pleasantly surprised by this lipstick. Don't get me wrong. It is a 'typical' lipstick, meaning that YES it does come off like most others on the market but at least it doesn't need a chisel to get it off. The coverage for this one particular line of lipsticks is rather on the sheer side. So one could layer it with another lipstick. The scent is a little on the fruity side but I feel it is not over powering or nauseating. The taste is not odd either. Again, it's along the lines of most of the ones out there on the market. If you go to the web site you can see all the colors that New York Color has to offer. It's a nice range of shades for everyone. However, I will say that the photos are a little off when compared to the actual product. The one I tried, 'Violet Shine', is actually more on the pink side rather than violet or even lilac. Still, I feel it is worth the money and a try. For the price, one can splurge and buy a bunch without breaking the bank.
