My brow shape is generally pretty good. Once a year I get them waxed at the salon and then maintain the shape at home with tweezers every few days. My problem is that the color of my eyebrow hair is getting lighter - who am I kidding - it's turning white! I'm a geezer and my brows are turning white. As a result my face just looks like something is missing unless I do something to thicken and darken the brows a little.
My #1 pick for solving this issue is NYC Browser Brush-on Powder with Grooming Wax and Tweezers. A friend of mine tried it and loved it so I gave it a try myself. I got the Shade called Smoke as I'm a redhead. Blonde was too light and brunette was too dark.
This product is fairly easy to use. Simply dip the brush (included) in the soft grooming wax, mix lightly with the colored powder, then brush upward and outward over the brows using quick, short strokes. The wax is quite soft so it is easy to apply too much if one is heavy-handed. To avoid looking like Joan Crawford one must use this product sparingly and with a light hand. After using it a few times I got the hang of it and don't have any problems. Using this product, I am finally able to quickly fill in my brows so that they look groomed and neat with little effort. Sometimes I am able to use the brush the next day without having to add anymore wax but adding a small amount of powder.
The only issue I have with Browser is that the tweezers that come with it are useless so I always throw them away. They are tiny and hard to grip. NYC would serve this product better to include a small grooming brush to further groom the brows with instead.
