After suffering through the loss of her true, true love, Bella was finally able to make an attempt at a happy life once she started hanging out with Jacob.  For some strange reason he made it not hurt as much, and she finally found a way to connect to Edward if only in her mind.  As Bella is, danger magnet, you just have to know that there is more to everything.  The feelings she has for Jacob are not and will never be what she feels for Edward, but might it be enough to have a ‘happy' life, even with the Cullens natural enemy?  —… read full review »

I heard about Twilight by Stephenie Meyer about 3 weeks ago when I got an email from Borders with an article about the "Bella Luna" series being the next Harry Potter.  I'm a huge Harry Potter fan and looking for more books that can hold my attention like that series so I decided to give this series a try.  I read Twilight in just a few days and loved it.  About an hour after finishing it I went back to the bookstore to buy New Moon which is the second book of the series.  It also only took a few days to read and, although it was not quite as good as Twilight I… read full review »

The only reason I began reading this book series is my 13 year old daughter wanted them for her birthday, when a teenager asks for books for her birthday I had to see what they were about!  — I finished Twilight in a day, but  New Moon (as many reviewers point out) was not as great, so it took me about a week.  I began to skip over chapters in anticipation of Edward's return, but my sweet daughter encouraged me to read the entire book, so I did as I was told. — Stephenie Meyers is very adept at storytelling, the reader cannot help but feel all of Bella's emotions… read full review »

I like this book but the first one had a better relationship basis than this one. In New Moon the whole book was about how heartbroken Bella was when Edward left. It made me unhappy to read, a little bit, because she was so upset and I felt that he shouldn't have left her like he did. I loved the book over all and am happy waiting for the 3rd one to arrive from the Library. Stephenie Meyers is really good at catching your emotions. — … read full review »

The second book in Stephanie's series was heartbreaking, intriguing, and I impatiently turned pages while waiting for Edwards return! The story is inter-mixed with the history of how vampires and werewolves tried to exist together, along with their ambivalence towards each other in the present. Not bad for a sophomore… read full review »

This second book is as full on new twists and turns in the world of fantastic creatures as the first.  The love story between Edward and Bella hits a critical obstacle at the beginning of the novel and it looks like their relationship has ended throughout most of the novel, although there is a feeling of hope.  Meanwhile, Bella becomes best friends with a hunky boy who soon becomes a man in ways that complicate the story even further, because he becomes the natural enemy of Edward, which isn't a problem until Bella leaves the country to rescue Edward and when they… read full review »

I couldn't put this book down.  It was a very fast read for me and I really enjoyed it.  Every time I fninished one of the three books in this series I was anxiously awaiting the arival of the next in the mail. — The love story was very complex and kept me on the edge of my seat wondering how it would turn out.  The action was great and very clear, almost as if you could see what was happening. — I'm always on the lookout for a good clean romance.  I hate the ones that get x rated and too mushy.  I like action in my books with a twist of romance to spruce… read full review »

Warning! Spoilers!! — — — This book makes you feel a bit angry towards Edward at first, but anyone can really see why he left Bella- to protect her from his dangerous life. It isn't as if Edward did it spitefully or without any feeling either- based on his attempted suicide when he thought Bella had committed suicide by jumping off a cliff, you can tell he truly loved her and wouldn't live without her. — Anyways, it was a cute read, a bit slow in the middle with a bunch of Jacob, but it's good to have Edward back in Bella's life at the end. A great read in the… read full review »

The book New Moon was a really great book. Anyone who likes a good old fashioned love story or even a action story then you really need to read the book New Moon. It was such a exciting book i couldn't put it down. I had to keep reading it. I would stay up day upon day reading it delaying all my other work. I absolutely loved this book and i think anyone could. If you don't have enough time then make time because you don't know what you are missing by not reading this book. —… read full review »

This book is a book from the Twilight Series. In my opion this book wasn't as good as Twilight. I loved the book Twilight!! If my other friends weren't borrowing my book I would probably be re-reading it right now. It's the best book I've read, and it's hard for me to go back to reading other books, because this isn't any ordinary book. New Moon is a good book, and I'm excited to start to read Eclipse!! I would reccomend reading this book!! I would actually reccomend reading the whole… read full review »

Although not as great as the first, it is still a good read.  I am a 7th grade teacher and my students are fighting over this series.  — I suggest a reread.  I think so many readers try to get to the part when a certain vampire returns, they cannot see the wonderful character developing that is Jacob Black.  — I cannot wait, nor can my students, for book 4! —… read full review »

The Twilight series overall is well loved by most teens. I know a lot of people who adore the story and are constantly talking about the next book coming out or the movie coming out. It's a good story, but not the best I have ever read. Overall, it's been pretty predictable so far as a series. All the same I can't wait for the next… read full review »

What can I say this series is so great. If you pick uo the first book make sure you have 2,3, and 4 on hand. Once you open the first one you will not be able to put them down until you are finished. —  Perfect to keep you crying, laughing, you do get mad in some parts. Only at the characters.
