January 30th we finally got to do our Girls Night Out and we went to see New In Town.  The movie seemed pretty predictable at best.  Opposites hate each other, become attracted and fall in love.  But what occurs between the phases is what gets your attention.

I've often said that the hallmark of a good movie to me is one that makes me feel and think, and maybe even laugh a little. I expected to enjoy the romantic comedy New In Town, but I didn't expect to have tears rolling down my face in which I wasn't sure whether they were from my laughter or from my empathy for the characters.

Renée Zellweger stars as Lucy, a high-powered executive in Miami. They're planning on restructuring a food processing plant, and she is delegated to move temporarily to the plant's location in New Ulm, Minnesota to help with the transition. Much of the fun in this movie is...
